A couple of weeks ago, I came on here talking about how I was going to diet and exercise to lose weight. Now, I'll update you on how that's going:

I've been eating three meals a day, no snacks in between at all. I've only had faty things three times in the last two weeks, as opposed to every day: Two two-packs of chocolate twinkie knock offs, and a piece of a piece of a Recees Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake, because it's the new cheesecake for my dad's work. I checked last week how many pounds I shaved. I lost a good 5 pounds in a week, and am hoping to check the scale tomorrow to see how I did after two weeks.

Also, on Tuesday, my friends Elvin and Allan came back from Nicaragua. Elvin has the same problem as me, but he's more in shape than me. So since Tuesday, we've been using a workout video called Insanity. It's basically the P90X of cardio, and tires you out so much more.

I thought as I was going to start doing this, that I wouldn't be able to physically see a difference in appearence. I like to wear skinny jeans. And usually, I size up to size 36 waist to fit in them. And I have a pair that are size 34. I can fit into those size 34 jeans a lot better now. And one of my goals after I'm done with all of this is to be able to easily slip into those jeans.

Annother thing I thought was that I was going to lose the drive to play Smash, and that I was going to quit. Then, I went to a Smashfest after starting, and realized I'm not quitting for a good amount of time lmao.

So ultimately, I started out at 5'11 and 200 pounds. After a week I'm 5'11 and 195 pounds. I hope to get to a solid 175-180 by the end of the two month Insanity workout program, at least. And I've got a big bone structure, so from there, I might start P90X again and see if I can seriously develop my muscles and get big. Man, just imagining me being fit and in shape makes me happy

It's really good to see someone strifing to be in better shape on nothing but their own will power. I commend you and the best part is that once you do finish it, you will not have to go through it again and you'll feel good for the rest of your life. I don't live healthy, but I do work-out on a few occassions and that keeps me in shape, so I made a good compromise. Stick with it, and once you do get there, getting buff is a pretty cool next goal, but is a lot harder than losing weight.
