Ok guys. I posted up the matchup chart and well lets just say i did not get any responses that i thought i would get. if you havea disagreement please post it nicely on the matchup thread and i will more than be happy to talk about it with you. i have been known to give up my position and things i believe.

now ive gotten feedback that i shouldnt be the matchup guide writer and that everything should go to prime due to my lack of tourney experience. if this is how the community feels then i will gladly get rid of all my stuff and let prime go for it. i dont want to hinder the pika community due to my "lack" of experience.

galax, this is your baby and imo you should be running the matchup threads. regardless of tourney experience (which honestly doesnt matter. our matchups are determined by the combined efforts of the community, and then you compile and organise it) you are the one to do it. you should just stop letting things get to you. and if we wanted tourney experience running the matchups we would have anther or pikapika running it. and this should be locked, its pointless lol.

Matchup threads are a community effort. Your lack of individual tourney experience doesn't affect the quality of your matchup thread, since the pika community has a large amount of tourney experience they are willing to share. You are very active on the pikachu boards and you are willing to devote much of your time to writing up these detailed guides, which are two key qualities we need in a matchup thread writer.

Honestly, I think your pikachu matchup thread ranks among the top three of all the character boards. Most matchup threads only have a brief synopsis on the other character and some obsure matchup ratio, but your matchup thread is basically an essay on how to fight the other character, highlighting all the important details that most matchup threads leave out.

I really think you should continue writing our matchup threads. I find them extremely helpful and I'm sure the rest of the pika community agrees.

As someone who doesn't have a lot of tourney experience and who doesn't get to play against good players too often, I really appreciate the work you do to compile all of the stuff on the pika matchups. You do a great job of organizing it and making it easy to read. I've found it immensely helpful.

Gallax. you're doin' fine. good work, as always.

But, I am dissapointed that you added the "and my future here" part of this. It's the internet. People are going to try to tell you that you are incompetent all the time. Just do what everybody else on the internet does and suck. it. up. and ignore them. You know you're helping the community, probably more than a number of the people questioning you. Don't let them dissuade you.

And be a man and don't whine about it. lol

I agree with everyone above me. I think that you're doing a fine job. I REALLY love the detail you go into in the match discussions. For a player who is still learning, I can't even begin to express how insanely helpful your write-ups are.

Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new numbering system. I can't stand that 45:65 mumbo jumbo, and I think the 0-10 scale is just so much clearer.

You're doing a fantastic job =)
