I have played Brawl for 62 hours as I write this review.

To start out, the game got great graphics. It's beatiful to
see them fight with weird moves in different enviroments.
Water and background action is truely beatuful.
But besides the great graphics, there is also a deep gameplay.
A gameplay DEEP down a hole... Seriously, its going VERY slow
if you are used to Melee. And the game is very unfair in most
circumstances. Choose Meta Knight or Fox, and you are a guarantated
winner. Choose Yoshi or Donkey Kong, and you WILL lose. It's so
unfair, and its annoying, as you can see that Nintendo did put
a lot of work into this game. It had potential. It really had.
The gameplay just failed and it ended up like a noobish button
smasher... But **** it, the graphics are great. Sadly, there are
not so many characters. Not even 50 characters, but 39...
Disappointing. Still, despise the lacking gameplay, lack of
characters and lack of balance, the game got MANY stages. Some
of the stages are great, while some just are cheap...
New Pork City is not even New Pork City, just platforms with
New Pork City in the background, and some of the levels are 2D
in graphics! And the only Pikmin stage is so tiny and in lack
of interactivity. And in their lazyness, Nintendo brought not
only the popular Melee stages back like Hyrule Temple, but also
some boring ones no one gives a **** about. So all in all, the
competive part of Brawl plain and simply sucks and should only
be tested by the curious players, but you MIGHT get scared away...
But is Brawl a bad game? No. It got a great library of trophies,
along with a great adventure mode and great graphics. The SSE
is a great experience and is what made me give Brawl a okay review.

Conclusion?
Graphics: 09/10
Gameplay: 05/10
Content : 04/10
With horrible gameplay, few characters, all characters too different
in powerlevels and cheap stages, the thing that makes me give Brawl
6/10 is its saviors, the SubSpace Emisarry and great graphics.
You should instantly start playing Halo 3, and burrow Brawl to test.
BRAWL: 06/10

I laughed, assuming there was a lot of sarcasm in that. It couldn't be a serious review :p

I can't tell if this guy's sarcastic...

I doubt it cuz he pulled the stupid Halo 3 crap at the end of his post.

Come on, say Gears of War instead of Halo 3. Something worthwhile you know?

No. I never said Brawl was a bad game. It got SubSpace Emisary and great graphics.

But the competive game just sucks... Way too few characters, and they are so distant in powerlevels. Also, the gameplay is slow and the stages are just not creative.

Ten more characters than Melee? Twelve more stages than Melee? A soundtrack of 312 songs? Over 600 stickers/trophies?

Oh yeah. 4/10 for content right there. Plus, your complaining about the imbalance in characters seems to be a little misguided, to be honest.

So few characters? Um, but each and every ONE is detailed in so many ways. You can try making one character you know, and I'm SURE it'd be hard.

And the stages look deeply creative.

Halo 3 is completely irrelevant to the Wii, this review or Smash Bros. The games aren't remotely comparable in any aspect. Hell, Call of Duty 4 isn't even too comparable.

This is a troll topic.

New Pork City. What is it? Just New Pork City IN THE BACKGROUND while you fight on some random platforms that got nothing to do with New Pork City.

Fox, Falco and Wolf are basically the same characters,
So are Link and Toon Link.
So are Captain Falcon and Ganondorf.
So are loads of others.

There are only 39 charactersm with unfair powerlevels, and half of them resembles the other half... And you expect me to be satisfied?

just like to point out

1. i give a **** about all of the returning stages, so i guess that just disqualified that statement.

2. if you looked closer you would see that many of the platforms that make up new pork city are actually parts of buildings

3. yes, if you suck at yoshi and dk, you will definitely suck at them in brawl. it's not like melee was any better at balancing.

4. 2D doesn't mean sucky. 2D is for effect, duh. you can't exactly call a stage "flatzone", make it in full 3D, and get away with it stylistically. also, yoshi's story FYI is a big 2D-styled game. and by your statements on 2D sucking, i guess you are saying that all 2D DS games are disappointing, since the DS does have very adequate 3D capabilities?

in the end, though, there's nothing wrong with you not liking or bashing the game. the thing that's truly idiotic about your post is that you took about 5 points off for gameplay and 6 points off for content when it's obvious that this game delivers much more than games with much higher scores.
