So, I recently lost a best friend.
And honestly, I have no idea how I even put up with him for THIS long.
He's just an inconsiderate jerk who feels like he can treat his friends however he feels like because he's better than them in every way.
No matter who his closer friends are, he makes them mad on purpose. He pushes them and pushes them no matter how calm the try to handle the situation. He is ALWAYS the one to start trouble, and he never expects to get any **** back.
He recently lost one of his closer friends because he made his friend mad on facebook, and when his friend responded in the same manner, he suddenly felt compelled to fight him irl. And he called his friend out.
Why troll if you cant handle retaliation? How are you going to want to fight someone after you intentionally push your friend away?
Thinking "oh he's a little punk, he cant say anything back to me".

Well now the same thing happened with us. I finally begin to retaliate, and you say that i'm inconsiderate when I say rude things back? Lmao.
Then you take me out of your life, just like that?
When i've been putting up with your bull**** for years?

And then you post on Smashboards... a TON of lies to make me look like a terrible person, and to get people to take your side.
Is it because you're so selfish that you need fake consolidation for your.. already ENORMOUS ego?
Or is it that you're in so much denial that you want to believe the foolish things you're saying?!?!

I don't know.
But what I do know, is that maybe this is for the better.

This looks a lot similar to rhan's thread but that sucks.

edit: ah, I see you're the one rhan is talking about. Well I guess this is the other side of the story.

Huh. I was sure I just read something like this within the last day or two.

Anyway, what can you do? People change, and if said friend wants to be a ****head, you can't do anything besides asking him to stop. If he continues being objectionable, you can obviously just stop talking. A sad end to a friendship, but an effective one.

Also, lol at Facebook drama.

Honestly, he was never really a best friend if he dropped you so quickly.

Friends come and go in life regarding disputes and such, best friends are the ones that don't cut you out of their life based on one or maybe even multiple silly fights. In fact, they should be trying to resolve the issue, not making it worse. Imo, anyways.

You guys should probably take a step back and wait for tempers to calm down. Then you guys can try talking it out and see if there's anything worth salvaging in this friendship. In my experience, it's easy to give in to the heat of the moment, but later on you may look back and regret losing a friend over some relatively minor.

But these are things that are best said in person, not over a public forum.

no, it's a blog.
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize blogs went in user blogs.

Also, apparently blog is code for "hey we're going to take up space with personal issues that REEAAAALLLLY should stay personal so we don't all look like fools". I'd like to add that not a single human is going to find this to be a smart idea, but I'm sure more than a small amount will find it to be kinda ********. Juuuust saaaaaying.

Apparently not liking this blog=Not liking all blogs.

Sure.
I'm not going to argue with you, but leave it at this: Most Blogs get just as personal as this one. Maybe not so much on here, but have you been to Blogger.com?

Well no see this is not the place to literally start a ****ing public fight with someone, period, there's a difference between venting a bit and saying **** that will in no ****ing way help your situation.

On a side note, Linkownz, THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOUR FONT COLOR JESUS CHRIST.

The issue is less the personal nature of the blog and more the fact that we have two members who have a disagreement IRL posting inflammatory blogs about each other. There is no way you can vent about a person on a forum where you know they have an account and not have it come back to you. It's the wrong way to handle a conflict, and it's destructive to people's relationships. I think if you have a problem with a friend, you can vent in a place where they won't find you venting, or you can go talk to that person and try to settle it like adults.

A agree with you, just I didn't agree with the notion that:

In most situations there shoudn't be a problem with venting on a blog, but this isn't the usual situation. I definitely don't think you should do what they're doing. I felt like I had to clear that up.

Where people get NOTHING.
In situations like this, it's easiest just to htink you're both are lying. That way no one goes unpunished. xD

I feel your pain Link I got a similar irl situation going on and it's now going to cost me..probably several grand and I'll probably dissapear off here for a little while once the hammer falls (not that anyone knows or cares who I am anymore lol) .___.

Reading this was a little spooky, because I just went through a very similar experience with one of my "best" friends. But instead of him being a jerk because he thinks he's better than everyone, he was a jerk by refusing to acknowledge whenever anyone does better than him. Literally every death of his in Brawl would immediately lead to a john about how he could've or should've avoided whatever hit him, and two years of that crap gets aggravating, to say the least. Thankfully he's never tried to fight anybody, he would just rage quit and/or kick everybody out of his house, depending on the situation. But you can only get kicked out of someone's house over a video game so many times before it gets ridiculous (the answer is once), so now we're no longer friends. If this friend of yours is anything like you described, then perhaps the way things turned out is for the best.

Unfortunately, this is something that is likely to happen to everyone. I've put up with things like this from "friends" for as long as I've lived in this area. I'm moving soon, so I guess I shouldn't care how they act towards me now, but some of the stuff they do really makes me irritated and sometimes really angry.
