People this is a place to talk about a tourney, not mupen64k and DEFINATLY NOT pj64k.. and i really feel sorry for the man that said pj64k in this whole thread, you now have so many enemies and shiz...

Anyways, sign me up we need some Unit X members in this besides okaygo so count me in.

And some of those reasons were pretty dead-on. For example, it is now 8:11 pm PST, Sunday, 08/05/07, and there are currently twelve smash games hosted using Project64k and zero smash games hosted using Mupen.
And also, I do think 90% of the smash players use project64k right now; 90% at least.

EDIT: 1 Mupen hosted game has been created as I was typing up this post. BUt there was also an increase of 3 Project64k hosted games.

On-topic: I won't be participating in this tournament because I do not use Mupen.
And is this tournament sponsored by EGX or something? whose authority was it to give Elevation to the winner?

This tournament will be played using Mupen64K for once instead of PJ64K. Most users don't want to use Mupen64K because it is new, different, and hardly anyone is using it and people are afraid they wont find a game. This tournaments purpose is to let a variety of people experience Mupen64K and get a feel for it and how it plays.

Exactly. Mupen64 is also OpenSource (Not Mupen64K yet) So it means you dont have to live in the gay world of windows to enjoy N64 emulation. Some people 'Jigglymaster' dont understand the hard work the Mupen64 Team and okaygo has dont to make such a fantastic emulator and make it online-able. Because they go by what most people tell them to do and that will end up getting yourself killed in this world.

This is clearly why Mupen64 is more popular then any N64 emulator (offline of course)

The whole Kaillera thing goes mostly to okaygo, but on okaygo's site he mentions all thats helped make/support Mupen64K

People need to get their facts straight before charging onto my AIM and asking me to battle while im doing importiant LIFE shiz and need to rest up for the tourney tomorrow that they are TOO LAZY to attend.

Speaking of which, I should probably update it again. I still have to add that rice plugin that mudlord hacked to make it direct x 7 only (although it is included with mupen64k), The newest glide wrapper, and a low level emulation plugin I found on emutalk.net... I think an afterthought by him was to test it out, we played a 4p game for like 30 minutes.

First of all, it's taken. Not tooken.

Secondly, I know Okaygo is an administrator, but it's Para's server, and he can only give elevated priviledges if Para lets him.

A lot of the people who just signed up on the boards to join in the tournament are my friends. As for giving people elevation, that is none of your concern; but if you must know, I may give status granted I accept responsibility for the persons actions.
