Assuming it's the same 20 Gleamium, that'd be 80 Gleamium each month, which is nice. That said, changing the Gleamium to 25 so that each month gives at least 100 Gleamium would be great.

That would have been nice to know earlier today before I bought 5 bucks worth of Gleamium to make sure I had enough for the BP next week.

We are getting a choose your own adventure game on twitter so i guess a change of pace from the doomposting there.

"The sound of thunder fills the sky, ringing in your ears. Rain engulfs you as you jump into a dimly lit room to seek cover. You can see the storm continue to rage through a single, lone window. With every flash of lightning you can see inside the room. What do you do?"

“You remember the book of matches in your back pocket. You strike a match, but it goes out. You strike the last match and light one of three candles in front of you. In its dim flickering light, a record player appears in front of you. The rain seems to stop making sound, but persists. What do you do?”

“The record spins to life, echoing the notes of heavy metal. The second candle sparks and lights itself. Reverberation from the music shakes the room to life. Your bones rattle. You feel energized, yet a sense of unease overwhelms you. What do you do?”

“You have a dark thought. The feeling takes you over. You instinctually put your finger on the record and begin to spin the record backwards. The third candle lights itself with a sudden POP! To your surprise, you can hear a sinister voice as you spin the vinyl backwards. What do you do?”

The voice in question is Azeroth, Metrion, Zinthos. Chant with me

“You chant the phrase uttered by the hellish voice. You hear other voices chant with you. Over and over and over again. Where are they coming from? Then the record sparks with a glint of purple energy. You have summoned a portal! Now, BEHOLD, what you have unleashed!”

Only problem with that theory is the Wizard of Oz's opening was sepia tones.

However! There are two album covers on the table. One with bats, and another with a pentagram.

So, like… is each battlepass half of the length of the season?

Or maybe both battlepasses are available at the start of the season and you choose one to do first (so you can get either Marceline or Raven first and you have to wait to get the other.) As such, there’s no midseason character, but most people won’t get the other character until midseason anyway. Maybe this is how they planned to work in having a Christmas vacation for the devs?

If it’s the latter, would you choose Marceline or Raven first? (I’d personally want to see some gameplay first and the other contents of their passes before I pick.)

Interestingly, the link I posted seems to answer the question for Raven.

No more fighter currency will be obtainable (any you still have can still be spent). Instead, you now have to earn XP to unlock fighters (you can still spend Gleamium on fighters, or Currency if you have any before the update). Once you unlock everyone up to and including Nubia, remaining XP is converted to the Battle Pass.

Raven will have the 3 day early purchase system before joining Fighter Road on November 15.

Raven without a doubt. I've made it known that I think Adventure Time is severely overrepresented in this game and it's time to let it rest for a bit. Get other series in, especially from CN. When we get Ben, Gumball, Mordecai and Rigby, Dexter, Daffy, and Fred Flintstone in then we can visit AT for maybe one more character but let's give it a break for awhile

That's... I dunno what to feel. I expected Fighter Road to be for base characters. With all the expensive effort they've been putting into new characters, around the tier of fighting game DLC, how are they going to make and sustain this game with cash? Characters were one of their biggest and more consistent sources of income even more than skins lmao.
