Ok, here's what happened today. I'm minding my own business in computer tech, posting on smashboards (naughty naughty ) when all of a sudden the intercom comes on with the following message...

Attention students and teachers, please pay note to the following announcement. It appears we have a group of monkeys running around the campus. Not students, but quite literally live monkeys. The monkeys escaped from Caribbean Gardens [ a zoo about a ½ mile away] and have taken a hopefully temporary refuge in our school. We ask both students and teachers to do the following. If you see one of the animals, don’t touch it or interact with it in any way. Do not feed the monkeys. Also be cautious as the monkeys may attack if they feel threatened in any way. Please exit your classes quietly and get to your next block as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Now, posting on smashboards again, I look to my left and see a gibbon in a cage on a trolly being pulled by one of the zoo staff. The gibbon is actually an ape, so ms.announcer was actually wrong about some of her message. I've seen three monkeys (not apes) other then the gibbon I stated above. Is there more or less? No clue, they haven't announced how many are around still. Two of the three were on the gym's roof. The third ran under our feet in track the next class.

This is amazing. The closest thing I have to a zoo around my school is a hillside full of wild deer. They dont come over to the campus during daytime much since all the students try to chase them.

I'd leave a knife lying around just to see what happens.

This reminds me of the time we had our school on lock down because bison escaped from their pen at the wildlife preserve and broke our glass doors and were wondering the hallways.

How could you possibly find this out? That is by far the most random allergy I have heard.
