Just one thing i need help with, what should the optimal height and width be for the header? i can't seem to get it right. the last few mods that were posted (classic dr.mario and red propeller luigi) are mine and you can see how crappy the pics are. help?
It's better not to have text like in this mod: https://modulous.net/mod/93/Alastor

Or if you want to have it put text in the top part, so it shows up in the thumbnail and header.

Is that not the purpose of a report function? I'm reading this whole situation and am confused about what the issue is. Someone uploaded something stolen, you reported it to a mod, it got removed. That's how it works on most modding sites.

The fact that there's a comment section unlike KCMM also helps because you can leave something saying it's stolen, and it'll get reported by those who see it..
^ I thought this would be obvious to anyone who can exercise reading comprehension, but so far all I hear is people whining because they want it their way.

The problem isn't the fact that something was stolen, the problem was that absolutely nothing was done when it was a FEATURED MOD. The problem is that if it's a FEATURED MOD on a very small site, it's BOUND to be found by literally ANYONE who sees it. I think it's a huge problem if users have to report stolen mods on such a SMALL website instead of the moderators finding it and doing something about it themselves.

I don't use Modulous at all. I went on Modulous because of the "forums" and found that something IWG made was uploaded without his permission. I know for a fact "RepostBot" isn't IWG and that he wouldn't want it uploaded without his permission.

The problem isn't that it was stolen. Stealing is bound to happen in any online community. It's how damn long it took before action was taken. And with such a small website, there's no excuse. Own up to your mistake saying you ****ed up and will do something about it instead of saying that it's dealt with.

The point in time where that mod was uploaded was a point where I didn't have a second moderator and I certainly didn't check the website because I was busy working on the mod manager and on the site itself, I saw the mod and I fetured it without checking who it was, but that won't happen anymore.

I say it's been dealt with because it's been dealt with, the stolen content is gone, the problem that I have with some people is that they find problems with the site and instead of letting me know they simply attack like if problems couldn't be fixed and like if I was the worst person to ever live on this planet, want change? either make it yourself or at least tell me with a little bit of education.

Action didn't take long, as soon as I knew about it I went ahead and deleted the content, that's a pretty good response time, I didn't know it was stolen, it's not my fault, it's the fault of the person who stole it.

People like you that still complain for fixed issues are the reason that makes me want to continue with the site.

I just fixed something that made me incredibly uncomfortable, the site does not call Project: M ProjectM anymore!

Oh and you can also search by game, I added Smash 4 support too.

I still don't get how character tags work on this site.

I've tagged my Brawl Marth (apparently a featured mod) every which way and he still doesn't appear if I look in PM > characters. I updated him and apparently the default was Smash Wii U/3DS, and to edit this I can't use the edit button but have to update?

The ability to give dropbox links would be nice too. Especially since I'm collabing with people and passing around huge zip files anyways.

I'm going to be reworking character tags soon, don't worry about that, as i'll do all the updating manually.

The CSS like thing is outdated, and I really should have left it in, the way to go is using advanced search:

I have also fixed your mod version mistake.

I think I asked about this when it was first released, but I'll ask again. Can you add some kind of button for each game that just lets you view everything like the recent additions? It's nice casually browsing the new additions for each individual game, but selecting it form the tabs just takes you to the character/stage select.

Yeah you are right, that's something I've missed,

As I said before the CSS is no more, you have to use this:

http://modulous.net/search_advanced

I'll add chronological order settings tomorrow.

It really should just be "Project M".

The colon isn't supposed to be in the official title.

Modulous next is here!

Modulous has been upgraded to use spacedock.info's source base instead of Kerbalstuff, and it now looks much better along with other improvements, you can read about the changes in the following link.

http://modulous.net/blog/10

Also, I changed the ToS a bit to ensure freedom for all modders, you can read about it here:

Sure has been a while, good to see you didn't leave it. It probably was somewhat hard with more people still using Brawl Vault.

What happened to your Mod Manager tool? I recall trying to screw with it and recall not being able to get a Young Link clone working with Minus. It seems to have just disappeared off the site. The visual overhaul is quite nice, though the games are missing various pics.

The mod manager was a cluster****,and honestly, it was too much effort to make a mod work with the manager, smash unlike other modding communities is already settled in a standard (brawl vault and manual stuff) and making them move to an automated thing that requires some big effort to get to work with their mods is simply not happening.

I also found out people didn't read my instructions and just clicked the "add to modulous mod manager" checkbox even when there was a text saying they had to read the docs first.
