Mkay, here's my deal... Brawl+

I have been into Brawl+ for about 5 months, and it ***** vBrawl in every single way. However, I can never get any good practice. The only practice I get is on Wifail, or against my friends who, either, hate Brawl+ so much that I had to beg them to play it with me, or just suck at it. (Come to think of it, all my friends suck at all smash games...)

I looked on Insomniac's crew topic, and I couldn't find anything about smashfests (sorry if I'm just being stupid, but if one of you guys can tell me when the next one is, that would be greatly appreciated). I also had to miss BtL2 because of stupid work.

In Brawl+, I use:

Lucas- My main- I think my Lucas is decent, I like to practice my combos, but I'm always working on my Lucas.

Falco- Secondary- Again, somewhat decent, and again, I like to practice my combos. Falco was also my secondary in Mother Melee, so I guess I have a pretty good idea on how to use him.

So if anyone can tell me of any upcoming smashfests in or around NJ, it would be very aprreciated. I would love to meet new people who are experienced in Brawl+. Thanks for reading this!

you'll be hard-pressed trying to find a B+ scene in jersey. the closest cities with a B+ scene are NYC and philly. it sounds like you live up in north NJ, closer to NYC so that's probably your best bet.

actually, i live in East Bunswick, which is in central NJ, middlesex county, you know the place? good (lol)

and i can get into NYC and Philly with no problem

NYC- 45 min drive, no big deal

Philly- 90 min drive, kind of long, but if needed, i can live in my sister's apartment for the weekend if theres an all weekend long tourney going down

so, yeah, no problems getting to either place

I live in East Windsor. I will play Brawl+ if it's brought to me. I don't own a Wii.

I use Ganondorf. And uh...I guess I sorta use Marth, Fox, Ike, and Captain Falcon... But mostly Ganondorf.

well, there's Celadon City in Jersey City, thats coming up in a little less than a month, i'm excited for that :D

also, i think ganon is just okay in brawl+, i mean, i bet there are people out there that are amazing with ganon+, but i think that hes just okay... lol

yeah, i know i missed BtL2, i had to work that day (i got all hyped for it too...)

i wanted to ask my boss for a day off, but my parents said "If you do, we're not taking you anywhere until your birthday!" and my birthday is 4 days after Celadon and i don't wanna miss that lol

Insomniac hosts a smashfest almost every weekend, just check their crew thread or talk to Glick on the IRC becuase he's normally the one hosting these events
