Lol at Luigi players.
I have a Luigi friend, and you have three methods of destruction against an MK.
1. Dsmash
2. Nair
3. Patience
Don't go charging in. Shield grab as much as you can, and wait for your oppoturnities. Follow that whorenado and fire uppercut him into the stratosphere.

I used to main Luigi and I main MK now, so I can give you a lot of advice:
Tornado: As others said Dair him.
FowardB: dodge it and maybe he'll fall off the stage
A: Dash A always can make him stop spamming you
Dash A: dodge it
Uptilt: dodge it then spike him with Dair
Ftilt: hold your shield or dodge it
Dtilt: jump over him and attack him
Fsmash: move behind him and upB him
Upsmash: forward B him he is not protected on the sides when doing this attack
Dsmash: attack from above
^MK attacks ^your attacks or dodges

Who doesn't beat Metaknight as Snake...
Wish I could give you advice but I never fought a good metaknight and I don't play Luigi...
But stop attacking the guy just cause he wants advice...you beat him, congratulations, no one cares about you still, not a big deal just cause he wants advice and wants to try to beat you, thats what competition is all about...
Its not that hard to use Metaknight either...he is way to noob friendly just because he "looks cool" most of the time...he is a head with a cape...wtf is so cool about that? I find Jigglypuff 20 times cooler...
Tilts + fair + up b=you have just mastered metaknight! He is broken top tier...
However, Snake is also broken omgwtf tier...not a surprise that you beat him with Snake, thats what Snake was made for...and thats why he is awesome...lol

MK is now the character of rotation in the match-up discussion thread. I'm going to try and incorporate all the helpful info from this topic and add it to the match-up one.

Anybody talking about how MK takes no skill to play is a ****ing moron. You couldn't pick MK for the first time, and beat me with MK. If MK took absolutely no skill to play, you could pick up MK for the very first time and be able to beat Forte, and any other good MK user. So stop posting that bull****.
Now, contributing to the thread... my brother mains Luigi, and he has some ways of throwing me off, and I can help out a little bit. Use Luigi's nair. It comes out very quickly and has priority over some of MK's attacks. A combo that my brother uses against me at low percentages is nair > utilt > utilt > usmash/fair which I have a hard time escaping. Do NOT start using fireballs, because that'll only invite nado spamming. If MK gets you into the air, just dodge his aerials. MK is light, so a fresh fsmash or usmash at about 100% will do the trick. Use aerials and tilts to rack up the damage.
