MK Side B Cancel

Did this random before 2 minutes in training mode at SV.
I canceld a side B at the edge of SV.
It was like Falcos side B cancel.
I hit the upper part of the edge, the side B animation got canceld and I was falling down at the edge.

MK has better options IMO. Besides, some characters can cancel the Drill Rush before u cancel it. For example, Diddy and his naners ^^

Example:
Your enemy is at the other side of the stage, you are offstage.
So you could drill rush cancel and then directly go at the stage instead of grabbing the edge first.
I dont know any better option for this situation.
