Mini Smashfest (Melee ONLY), Los Altos, CA. August 4th, 2009

When: Tuesday, August 4th, 2009. This is VERY short notice so anyone who wants to come can do so.

Time: 11AM - 5PM (everybody MUST be out at 5:15 at the latest)

Where: 1574 Honeysuckle Place, Los Altos, CA. This is a HOUSE, my friend's house specifically. Please treat it with proper courtesy and respect, and for the love of God, don't take anything.

If you need directions, Google Maps.

There are plenty of nearby stores on nearby Homestead Road, including China Shuttle, Starbucks/Peet's, Rite Aid, etc. if you want to get lunch during/beforehand.

We have 2 setups ready-to-go. We don't expect a huge turnout, so extra setups probably won't be necessary. Still, if you feel the need, go ahead.

*NOTE*
We suck at this game aren't terribly good at this game, so don't expect Zhu-style playing (although he can come if he wants). We have practically no tourney experience and are looking to improve so if you're looking to violently **** someone at this game, then this is the place.

is that like the only viable option? b/c i always **** up the timing on shining outta shield cuz i'll try to jump when theres still some hitstun on the shield.

i also need help shifting momentum against falcos. every good falco i play its just me getting pressured the whole time, and even if i get outta pillars i gotta deal w/ lasers and ****. its too hard to grab good falcos T_T.

You can do nairs, dairs, and stuff to annoy falco.

go tomorrow. I'll be there. It's been a while since ive played. hope i can keep up. I'll be bringing some newer smash players who arent that competitive. Hope tomorrow shows them smash can be pretty fun =).
