Kary, it's a new mechanic. How else can you get people to like your own posts so that you can use abilities or not be modkilled w/e? Consider that even with likes, we don't really 'like' in-game posts yet, just posts that seem funny. So, people have to be like "Like me, like me!" in order for them to get any likes. Really, people generally shouldn't be posting restrictions so early, but with the case of likes, you sort of have ask for attention to 'likes'. A remedy to this is that people try to like posts for being 'likable' instead of just having everyone go "like me like me!"

hey Ran. the point that I was trying to make here is that, while Zen (or anyone) might want likes to use their ability, this wil be true whether they are town or scum. Claiming that you need likes is akin to claiming a PR out of the gate; which is not generally smart play. Giving likes to a player clearly benefits that player- and there's no reason to be helping other playerslots when you don't know their alignment.

@Ran: I think he is a detriment and needs to die regardless of what he is.

Seeing as others have restrictions like mine, I can just say that I need likes for NA's. Thought that I was the only one like this, so I tried to snag them in a round about way.

oh and in case it wasn't blindingly obvious, i'm town. i was inspired to vote indy when I saw it was 5 votes to lynch, something I don't yet understand. I was going to talk about that rather than restrictions.

for instance, it's a 7man. So if you were in a 2-man scumteam and someone claimed indy you'd be pretty sure they weren't indy.

Of course, you'd still want to lynch them, because you're scum. So you'd have to get your vote on them and try and look surprised.
