Really nice stuff Ruy.

Gheb was so scummy and I'm disappointed in the way you went about the game. You blatantly broke the rules and then proceeded to try and play it off as linguistics. You knew what you were doing and if you didn't you should have asked before hand. Screen shots were fine before the three of you posted them with times still in them which put Ruy in a tough spot.

Set up seriously took like three minutes to make. I just wanted to make a game structured off one of my favorite roles. Nothing more.

Well played Ryu, well played. My gut was telling me to kill you there but I figured it was just paranoia. You played pretty townie for the whole game.

Funny enough 3 of the 4 lynches were the ones who posted the time stamps.

Gheb was right though, I got my fake role PMs when the game started.

@PJB: I was scared of you just gunning for me on a random note but I was kinda confident you would stick to Soup, and honest, I don't blame you for that. I thought there was a two man mafia team with me without a kill and he was on it.

i LOVED deadpool. one of my favorites and im glad thats the last game i played on this account. thats cuz i was scum there and understood that starting off the game focusing on role pms largely benefits scum. by the time i got online soup had already gone off on his full ****** quest to **** all over dayphase gameplay using a tactic he ****ing exploited with me as my partner which we used to beat town yet triggered it here anyway holy ****

RR had me totally fooled. He seriously pushed all the right "I'm townie" buttons nearly the entire game. Bravo!

The only reason I even considered lynching him at the end was because I kind of felt like I was being manipulated in some kind of master plan. I could see the way he had engineered the lylo from a mile away, but I WIFOM'd myself into ignoring it.

The coin didn't like soup, and I had no problem going with that decision.

Brodancer, you played well tbh. You just started off a bit too slow but once you started talking to me my suspicions faded almost completely.

pretty sure he's the game mod. if he says you broke a rule, you broke a rule.

also why do people gotta lynch Kantrip. I literally don't get that, he's so easy to read as well. I can see lynching soup/Gheb because they were trying to be scummy but ehh

so am i the only one whos not feelin this setup? i dont understand how a bunch of townies vs an indy who thinks theres scum to hunt is spose to be fun. the indy just ends up playing like a townie for the most part and the game looks like townies ******** at each other. the fact that spectators and at least one intelligent townie thought there was literally no scum says something. i think this is a fair observation despite generally finding indies revolting and wanting to ban anyone who uses them from modding

Except Gheb was convinced you didn't get it at the start of the game.
Did I already tell you that you are sick in the head? You're talking some mad bull****.

pretty sure he's the game mod. if he says you broke a rule, you broke a rule.
No, rules are clearly defined before the game starts - none of my actions stood in contradiction to them.

Gheb, your entire argument for why you were confirmed townie was based on the premise that you had posted a screenshot of a town role pm. To me, that says you think scum don't have fake claims, cuz if they did, you'd realize that they can screenshot their fake PM just as easily as you screenshotted your real one. **** aint proof of ****.

Would it really have mattered whether Zen chose to call him "Indy" or "Mafia"? In the end Ryu was the only scumbag - which is fair game in an 8-player setup - and he had the NK. He simply played well enough to make us think at one point that there may be no scumbags at all in this game but I don't think that should attributed to the mod supposedly doing a bad job [which I don't think he did] but Ryu just doing it right. Generally, I'd agree with your sentiment @ Indies but I think in this case it doesn't apply. It was collectively poor play by town [soup getting all the attention from the start, Sword taking too long to get really involved in things, PJB pushing no less than 3 at least semi-cleared players, NH & Gheb losing motivation way too early] and good play by Ryu. The setup was alright, if not a bit in town's favor, it was just played horribly by us.

Also, anybody who's calling out soup for his bad play is a low-down dirtbag and should probably look at himself first because none of us really played any better.

I prefer giving town roles that actually help the town. But then if you don't give them an incentive to shoot themselves in the foot, 7 VTs probably destroy 1 SK.

It's not my style

I pushed 3 semi cleared players? That's really weird, cuz nobody was anywhere close to cleared at any point in this game. By your definition of "clear", the one and only scummer in the game was clear, cuz he posted his role PM just like everyone else did.

hint: it was fake, just like I freaking told you all game

not to be a stickler but yes i believe there is a difference in zen calling the scum indy vs mafia. since 99% of mafia games have...well...mafia it was a fair assumption on ruys part to believe that he had mafia to hunt and thus played accordingly. from his perspective he had largely the same motivation as the townies did. had he rolled mafia its possible his approach to the game would have differed. i think that someone receiving an indy role pm is going to tell themselves 'okay let me toe the line between town and mafia' as opposed to mafia saying 'okay let me pull some mislynches out of my ass or avoid them' barring the wording of their win condition hinting at an indy

not that we didnt play horribly. at any rate gheb i ****s with ya. you wouldnt believe how much i agreed with your more cynical comments at various points in the game

What I was confused about was that the OP alluded to an indy and a mafia faction, but it turns out the indy was the mafia faction? Seems pretty *******.
