I made a thread like this back in April, but it never really went anywhere. After completing my Smash Run mini-creation thread, I figured I'd take another shot at revising Classic Mode routes in Ultimate.
How does this thread work?
Similar to the other SmashBoards threads, I will give a prompt that anyone can respond to, say "Change Mario's Classic Mode route". Rounds will typically last until there stops being activity, and I will end the day when I have the time.
How each day works:
Before we move on to a character, I give you the following choice:
Route Name
What the route is about
After a while, we will vote on which of the submitted things should win. We'll handle ties with a SUDDEN DEATH day where the submission with the most votes wins.

How each day works:
Before we move on to a character, I give you the following choice:
- Uproot an entire route and redo it from scratch
- Change just one thing about a particular existing route (whether it be changing a boss, changing the name, integrating DLC characters into base game characters' routes, etc.)
- Request that the route stay as is if you don't think changing it is necessary
- What the route's theme is
- What opponents and/or bosses a character fights on that route
- Which rounds the bonus game will be between, if necessary
- What special gimmick a particular character's route has, if necessary
- Picking a music track for each round and the credits
Route Name
What the route is about
Round | Opponent | Stage | Music | Notes |
1 | ||||
2 | ||||
3 | ||||
4 | ||||
5 | ||||
6 | ||||
Bonus Game | Can be swapped with any other round depending on the context (, for example) | |||
Final Round | A boss is usually fought here, but like with the bonus round, you can place the boss in another round depending on the context |
