Unfortunately, Marth is unable to effectively fight Meta Knight without the use of mindgames.

If marth gets 1 grab, he puts himself in a very good position.

Being obviously out of step with the current metagame was kind of a tell. Claiming to be MLG only works on people who don't pay attention to the game's competitive scene, ie., almost nobody here.

MK pretty clearly beats all three of those characters, while Oli and/or ICs (depending on the stagelist) are generally considered better.
