If Lucario didn't have that auro mechanic he'd be overpowered. If it weren't for the high damage Lucario would've been top tier.

Lucario's ability is a risk-rward type of thing anyway. In order to gain the extra power you have to put yourself into a situation where your more likely to get KO much faster. So I guess I don't see a problem with it.

I quite like it. It really sets him apart from other characters. I don't really get the hate for it to be honest. I don't think it pushes you to play badly with him, but even if it does I'm fine with it. I like risk based characters.

Exactly. People typically don't let themselves get their crap kicked in just to get the extra power because after a certain point they aren't "letting" themselves anymore; the other guy is just gonna get the kill.
And it's not like it rewards the inexperienced/bad players, because if they let themselves get handled to the point of the aura being strong enough to save their skin, chances are they aren't actually going to survive long enough to use it.

I actually never noticed Lucario get any stronger in brawl. I knew it was there but I never noticed any difference. Hopefully there is a notable growth in Lucario's strength.

The only thing about him that changes is his damage goes up, and in turn, the higher damage causes higher blockstun, launch distance, etc.

Just looking at this article makes me think Brawl Pokemon+Mewtwo is a pretty 50/50 chance.

Mewtwo and Ganondorf are the two things that need to change, but at the same time there is a chance that they won't only because it has been established. Mewtwo is out, and Ganondorf has a Captain Falcon moveset. Focusing on adding new things and have those things on the backburner makes the most sense. Yes fans will be upset, but they've also accepted it.

I still think Ganondorf having a sword taunt was them saying "we tried to get it done guys, but we ran out of time." At first it pissed me off: Ganondorf pulls out his sword and laughs. It taunted the fans, instead of the opponents. But after I thought about it, it kind of felt like a sign that hadn't forgotten that Ganodof has a sword and want to add it but just ran out of time.

Yeah I'm hoping for a full shot of that, and clarification about its origin. Whether it is uprising or some remake of the original game with modern aspects. It would open the door for more potential if indeed they were making more stages than just current ones or those for their respective platforms.

Pokemon trainer confirmed assist trophy that tries to catch the fighters. If you mash out you hear Pokemon trainer say "Aww so close" until eventually he uses a Master ball. When you are caught you are stuck on a team with Ridley and Meta Ridley who deplete the fighters stamina to stay small so they can fight. You have to switch with Down B or you will lose a stock because the Pokemon trainer gives each character Black Sludge as a hold item. Both Ridley and Meta Ridley's stamina is depleted upon summoning and must switch back as it takes up too much programing to keep them out longer than 5 seconds. Pokemon trainer then takes that characters spot on the roster along with Ridley and Meta Ridley. Unable to change back to just the single character the roster is eventually taken up by Pokemon Trainer, Ridley, and Meta Ridley plus whatever character was caught. This is Sakurai changing things up because in Brawl competitive players were punished with tripping for playing competitively. Casuals are punished with Pokemon Trainer and Ridley's for playing with items on.
