Mid-air grenade drop

I apologize if this has already been addressed, but I thumbed through the more popular Snake grenade guides, and couldn't find anything about dropping a grenade in midair. How do you do a mid-air grenade drop?

I DO NOT mean how do you drop a grenade, pick it up with a, jump, and then dodge. I mean, how do you jump, press b, and then drop the grenade while still in the air. If this is not possible, or if you need to throw the grenade then pick it up as it falls to drop it, please say so. It is important for my attepts at recovering as Snake.

You can't release a grenade straight down if you pull it in mid-air. Only if you pick it up off the ground first.

U must have picked a nade up from the ground as an item then get in the air and pull out another and the one u had ahold of will drop like a chicken laying an egg.

if u have a nade in hand whilke your in the air you can hit Z to drop it.


also does phsycomidget still post here i haven't seen him around, i remember that he was big or something.

or u can hit b again while holding a nade and it will drop the current and bring another out obviously, i call it an exchange

yeah i think he's one of the best but the snake boards kind of suck so maybe he just doesn't post anymore. i mean no offense... but there isn't much going on here. correct me if i'm wrong i guess because i never read snake boards anymore but only for that reason.
