Mewtwo is no copy of anybody in melee, he is hard to master but I know Mewtwo masters.

Nerf? XP, man that'd be like changing him to a huge blob, that can't move, and dies from 1 hit. Needs to be buffed DRASTICALLY. And his FS better be Bolt-Beam.

I'm kinda neutral on Mewtwo being in Brawl. I don't care if he is, but I'm not a fan of him being in the game. He is kinda cool, but he simply outright sucks. I think Jiggz would be a better pokemon in the game. Jiggz is total whoop@$$, and Mewtwo is total suck@$$ in melee. I don't really care if Mewtwo will be in the game or not, because I don't plan on playing as him.

You can't base a character's return on how they were in Melee...characters CAN be buffed, ya know...M2 could become the new top tier...you never know...

People (including myself) still find reason to play SSB even with the release of Melee - and that's even with the return of every character from the first game. There are some people who even prefer the original to the second, due to the slower speed, emphasis on juggling, and so on. Likewise, I would expect that there are going to be people that would appreciate Melee over Brawl and would opt to continue playing the game even after Brawl's release. It's not as if Brawl is going to be a replacement for Melee, after all. It'd be a shame to exclude certain characters from Brawl just because it'd be "cool" in that Melee would be the only game to feature said characters.

I think you're right, cause like Mewtwo is like THE one and only real villain of da world of pokemon. Not so much now since he's a good guy. But still, he's really tight. Only I'll say this, I only wanna see em back if he's heavier, more powerful, and stuff like that. Yall know what I mean.

Mewtwo will be in brawl because there is no reason to take him out. I think everyone is taking the directors comment a bit to heart when he said there is a chance not all will return, seriously the only ones who won't make it will be clones that aren't worth saving like the doc, pichu and roy and that's probably it, they aren't going to overhaul the entire bloody franchise.

Mewtwo might not have been the best character in Melee, but he was a unique villain character that added depth to the roster. Unlike most unlockables in the game, he had a unique moveset, and an interesting style of movement.
If you ask me, Mewtwo fits too many categories of what a character needs to not be in brawl.

And I wouldn't personally call you a Lucario fanBOY for the most part from what I read in your post. THIS is what Im talking about when I say fan-boy...

Apparently they haven't, but I can't imagine how that's possible. Lucario fanboy = There can only be one. And Lucario will be that one.
And you shouldn't strive to be labelled as a fanboy. The word has negative implications.

Not only does the fanboy constantly use trival things like being 14th on the trading network as false "proof" of Lucario's popularity in Japan. . .
(the thing is a one of pokemon, rare in the games like even top traded pokemon on the network. . . NOT something to cite as proof of it being popular in Japan.)
He also goes on about these. . (The rest of the debate is bubbaling on about these) "Lucario rank in MD/ Lucario was one of the first 4th gen pokemon known and maril proves early known pokemon are popular (would be better to "prove" Munch is popular)/ people use to like it cause they thought it was legendary/ it has merch!!!".
I was partly shocked anyone agreed with such a weak arguement supported only by a hand full of trival things that one would have never known unless they are researching this subject for a well but I WAS in "the shrine" . . .so what else could I expect?.
(That whole thing was started by me saying that Lucario aint a shoe-in and that it's pretty clear that the fan made pokemon list of the only Pokemon PC choices was wrong and PC pokemon was never limated to that list. . .but, as fanboys, they jumped me and that debate started)
That crazy *** PyrasTerran first replied to me about some post I made a whole year ago in support of Lucario (back when I simply wanted him as a coo pokemon version of Fox). . . .asked me 3 times about it before we got into a long winded debate where he pulled up post after post from a year ago that I made.

Yes, that was our first incounter on the pokemon poll. He kept asking me "what happened? Why don't you support Lucario anymore?!?" and wouldn't accept my answer. After 3 times of him asking me this I said "Why the h*l1 do you care soo much about post I made a year ago about this pokemon?" than he proceeded to cite/ quote and refer to post I made all over the past year well also refering to other characters I have shown support for in a long winded arguement.
I actually forgot that. . . odd event. . . untell I replied to another Lucario fanboy who told me that he recognized my screen name from Serebii.net a well ago.
