Mewtwo Palette Swap Poll

Vote for your favorite Mewtwo palette. It's that simple.

Personally, I really like the seafoam and blue palettes, but orange, yellow, and brown aren't bad. The rest are kinda bland, imo.

Orange one is the one I use most since orange is my favorite color but seafoam is definitely up there too. Gonna say it now though: I hate the shadow one. It looks so dumb to me.

Shadow seemed... odd. Mewtwo is already pretty alien looking, but shadow palette made it worse.

I predict that shadow will probably be the most popular palette. However, I agree that it looks bad. The dark body with the white tail just looks really strange to me. Orange is quickly becoming my second favorite palette, though. I think it has to do with the fact that it turns his body slightly orange.

What, you don't know? The pink one. It turns Mewtwo a brighter color and turns his tail pink. Hence, Mew.

That yellow green one is basically the shiny one, unfortunately. I just wish it was made to look more green. I used it in Melee and planned on it in this game, but I just hate how it looks.

I switch between them, but spend most of my time as Blutwo, Mintwo, or classic GSC Shinytwo. I like the brown one too, but only because it's so dark it makes him look monochrome.

I just go with default usually. During ditto matches though where i want to be able to distinguish my character better i like the violet/pinkish one since it reminds me of the shading he sometimes had on old tcg art followed by the shiny colour.(or seafoam as the poll calls it)

I mainly use the red looking one but switch to original every now and then, I also switch right back to main after I get bodied

Blue is my favorite because it looks great on him, and also because blue is my favorite color. Orange is my second favorite color and also second favorite palette. Third would go to brown, fourth to default and fifth to Shadow. The other three I don't even use. They're too bland.

Either Seafoam or "Yellow" for me... I actually did not realize it was yellow until now. Looked like green. Now I cannot unsee it... I've used the "yellow" one more than the seafoam color, but now that I can't unsee it being not green I'll use Seafoam. Both are nice colors though. I always use the green alts for every character.

Brown is a must have for me and I'm glad Mewtwo got a Brown palette (now if only my Brawl main Lucario were to get a Brown palette, closest I can get would be his Red and Black alts).

As for secondary colors, Orange, Yellow and Shadowtwo (Orange and Shadowtwo would probably come close.)

I second this. I was really disappointed that they didn't put his shiny colour in.

The Seafoam alt is supposed to be his Shiny look in this game (Yellow alt is a reference to his shiny color from the Gen II games.)

So Lucario's not alone in not getting a Shiny alt.

I usually choose Red or the "Shiny" Seafoam palette. Orange is also my favorite color so I like too. Shadow looks okay, but not my favorite.

Seafoam is his shiny color its actually a shade of green called spring green, the hue just changes depending on the stage ya'll should try it on Luigi's mansion.

I hate how the Shadow Mewtwo is basically the palette I most wanted but it has it's colors reversed. I really wanted a white/black or white/dark gray palette and I got it but it's inversed to what I truly wanted. The tail being lighter than the body is so jarring tor me.

my favorites are Shadow mewtwo and Seafoam mewtwo, Shadow because i really like demons, the dark grey just looks so good in my eyes, and seafoam because Cyan is my favorite color

I probably would have picked Shadow Mewtwo, since I tend to gravitate towards darker pallets, but - not to sound like some sort of hipster - I assumed everyone would gravitate towards that one, so I avoided it. And I'm glad I did - the brown pallet (I originally thought it was black, and it's such a dark shade of brown that I find it acceptable) is great and it's already my go-to Mewtwo pallet. My second choice would have been the blue one, and that's what my best friend uses.

I can't help but feel that Mewtwo's colors are references to the other legendaries' colors/shiny palettes

Orange/Red - Ho-oh
Blue - Lugia
Gold - Arceus
Seafoam - Dialga (Shiny)
Pink - Palkia
Shadow - Shadow Lugia

I don't know wtf is up with his Brown color though. Maybe it's an attempt on his Yellow colors?
