Smash Champion
This game looks awesome. It didn't look too hard to control and to make it even better, you can lock on to enemies. A shooter like this should take full advantage of the Wii's remote.

Great, so she's part human, part Metroid and Part radioactive ooze. So when does she get an injection of Chozo/space pirate blood?supermariopro101 said:The Wii FPS gives the heroine new powers via an injection of the toxic substance Phazon.
She had Chozo blood from when she was a childMic_128 said:Great, so she's part human, part Metroid and Part radioactive ooze. So when does she get an injection of Chozo/space pirate blood?
Yeah totally agree with this guy.Rash said:Man, I can't believe it has already almost been two years since MP2. Time's been flying by. I'm surprised that Retro Studios can just keep pumping out these quality titles out every 2 years.
I'm very interested in the new things that Corruption will introduce/re-introduce. I love the idea of utilizing the command visor to control your ship. Also, it's good to see the return of the X-Ray visor, as it was one of my favorite parts of Metroid Prime.
As much as I liked the weapon switching in MP, I felt that it limited the use of later-obtained weapons. I found the Anihilator almost pointless to use in MP2, as opposed to the plasma beam from the original MP. The "weapon stacking" concept, first brought about in Super Metroid (which still remains as the best Metroid game ever) sounds like it'll suit Corruption a lot better. It'll make it so you will actually be forced to benefit from beam-upgrades throughout the game. I think if they kept in the weapon-switching, it would make things feel redundant. Retro's decisions not to repeat themselves (i.e. not making Samus re-obtain her armor...again) are going to be significant in ensuring the best possible closing for the Metroid Prime series.
I love the Metroid franchise. However, after Corruption, I definitely want to see the next game taking place after Metroid Fusion. Right now, I'm dying to see what new endeavors that Samus is going to take on with her newly acquired suit, and if she'll have further opportunities to utilize her X-absorbing powers.

And mega cool for the command visor. They showed a clip of Samus' ship doing a bombing raid on a wall to make a hole for Samus to get through.
