Menu backgrounds not animated =(

Yeah, the newest trailer showed off about 5 minutes of gameplay footage, and some of it showed off the menus. From what I could tell, the menus backgrounds are not animated, though the icons do look pretty cool.

what the tittytittybangbang who care if they are animated. the queston of if brawl's menu's are updated is the least important thing in all of videogames. that old GBC Angelica game is more important that weather or not brawl's menu's are animated.

No, he's always had that same Final Smash... People at the demo's just didn't know how to use it properly... You have to push buttons in time with the music to make the waves go farther or something...

Check DK around 2:20. He uses his forward air, and grabs the edge right after! This sweetspot mechanism looks cool (as do the taunts and final smashes).

The background is animated. It is only a tiny little bit though. Also yes i have heard you do need to push buttons to make the waves go out further.
