I'll play you in brawl, but i won't have any fun whatsoever playing it. the gameplay is just really dull to me, i dunno why. I know it's a different game, i know there's new things to learn and you have to approach it differently....

but the game is just boring, honestly.

i never posted anything about smashfests o.o

i was willing to drive places to melee.

But, that's a fabulous idea.

Indeed, smashfests at sleepy's.

I think everyone except for columbus and newnan live under an hour from my house.
chaddd, eugene, and cornel live like 25 mins up 78, 112 and carter live like 10 minutes, suwanee is like 30 minutes from me, alpharetta is.. i dunno, under the hour mark though. Tech is in atlanta, so that's automatically 30 mins as soon as you get on 78.
not to mention i have housing available, since we have a guest room + those couches to hold people.

I dunno how many people i can have over at one time though.

I'd say around 10 or 12 is a good number to randomly show up, up to like 15-30 people if i asked my parents and set stuff up, as long as it doesn't happen like every week and we're good about cleaning up.

hmm, also, i recently purchased Knights of the Round and Captain America and the Avengers for the SNES <.<

Would that have anything to do with your placement at FR? Because I had a little bit of fun, but the fact that almost every game ended in a near tie running the time limit to it's breaking point, and the whole campy poke and run aspect of that game makes it very very little fun for me.

I know we had differing skill levels and all when the tourney was run, but I do recall just about every match played there was a stock for stock campfest.

Like I said. The next Smash Bros. is going to be a board game because the developers said they wanted to increase the pace a bit.

Chaddd- eh, not really. i thought brawl was fun before FR, so I wanna continue playing it some. As I said, I still like Melee, even though I never really won any of those tournaments, except teams. Dunno why you would think it's because I placed well at FR... :/ Besides, I put Smash on the backburner for GGXX, anyway.

Mike G - You are a freaking jerk. BTW, I feel the same way about Melee, just replace "Dr Mario" with "Roy". That is all.

Even the luck in brawl doesn't seem as fun. Sure, i can misfire, but wheres the screaming and profanity?

I would Definetly try to make this smashfest. The wavedashes, misfires, and 20 stock falcon ditto's are too appealing to let melee die just yet.

and besides, brawl seems more like a turn based combat game then a fighting game to me.(Not that i hate it, just don't find it as good as melee)
