apple pie is the go-to dessert. it's almost always at least an 8/10, and usually a 9/10 or better.

Quoted for mother****in TRUTH, even the worst prepared apple pie has been so good. I had ice cream and apple pie thrown into a pixie cup and it was still amazing.

Sweet potato pie sounds interesting, I'd try that. But then again, my palette has been severely spoiled these past 19 years, so anything different sounds good to me.
