Another reason why you could say that Brawl is a mixture of SSB64's gameplay and Melee's gameplay is that it seems to have the newer features Melee had that SSB64 didn't have (air dodging, as an example), but many of the glitches/ exploits/ advanced techniques such as wavedashing have been removed, incorporating SSB64's style.
The biggest question about Brawl is, Got combos?

Smash64 had them

do you?!

That's an aspect Brawl possesses that gives it its own identity. Also, the new air-dodge system makes it more difficult to set up combos, and you must take into consideration that the original SSB64 did not have air-dodging, which made juggling easier to perform.

Not really, there was just ALOT more hitstun. Even if there were airdodges in 64, almost if not all combo's would still work because of the hitstun.

they sort of mixed it together...
you can jump off the stage but you wont sink down as fast...
gameplay was fast, but not as fast as melee, so i actually can handle kirby much better now...

and there is rediculous shield stun in 64 when there is like none is brawl, I think they are polar opposites of the smash universe.
I swear this after dawn dude is trying to make crap up as he goes >.>

I never denied that SSB64 has much hitstun, in fact, I agreed with the poster who quoted me. Read more carefully.

I'm trying to tell you all that I'm tired of arguing so I deleted all of my posts and replaced them with 10 characters because smashboards doesn't give you the option to delete the post in full.
Are you tired of Arguing, or tired of not being able to prove your point...I think its the latter seeing as if your tired of arguing all you’d have to do is not come back to this thread, deleting all your posts only makes it look like you have something to hide...stupidity maybe? (Just taking a guess not saying your stupid ;)
