in smash bros melee, i discovered that you can use luigi's up and B against another luigi using up and b, if you do this enoigh, you will bypass the star KO area atop the screen!! i fell for 4 minutes after that!!!

that would be amazing is they took one stock and stalled forever. however it stopped for me after 5 minutes on hyrule when I last did it.

It works in Smash Bros. 64, but since Luigi moves horizontally in that game (much like Mario), it's a tad bit trickier.
But yes, this "technique" has been around since Melee.

I remember watching two people doing this for like 5 minutes or somthing at Pound 4. It was pretty interesting, i forgot what stopped them though.

I recovered with it on the bottom of the Frigate stage in Brawl while vsing Koro when we were both Luigi, it was epic

normally its only banned for stalling, recovering is OK, same as rising pound and wall-bomber
