Mega Man's SH Nair (back and forwards)

How do you exactly do this? When I try Shing back wards/ forwards, then nair, I end up fair or bairing. What are the button inputs?

If it's your first pellet in a string, you need to have the control stick in neutral when you hit A so that it comes out as a Nair. Once it comes out as a NAir, you can go back to moving the control stick to control your aerial movement. SH pelleting consistently back and forth is really difficult (at least it is for me). My only suggestion is practice in training mode.

OT: Is it only me or does using Nair with Mega Man make it harder to SH?
I have a feeling it's harder to SH while you're "in your pellets".
