Let's try to make a list of all the changes from Brawl here. Just post whatever you can find.

General
-No RCO lag.
-You cannot regrab someone for a few seconds after letting them go.

Fast Fall
-Can be canceled by using an aerial attack or b move.
-A fast fall can be done again after being canceled.
-You cannot fast fall a b move. (?)

Buffering
-You can no longer buffer multiple actions. (e.g., jumping nair, dash grab)
-Buffering dash, tilts, and grab are now easier as you no longer have to release the input before the buffer window.

Air dodge
-There is now landing lag when you air dodge
-You still retain the landing lag after the air dodge ends for about a second. This can be canceled completely by using an aerial with start-up autocancel frames right before you land.

Ledge
-You can now steal the ledge from someone that's already holding it.
-You do not get ledge invincibility when you regrab the ledge.
-Ledge options no longer change after 100% damage.

If any of these are wrong just let me know.

heck
I heard on Zero's stream that you can do aerials out of an air dodge, and he stated it could potentially be used as an approach method.

He has a video on YouTube about it somewhere.

Shields shrink MUCH slower when you hold them. In Brawl it took around 3 seconds of holding a shield to break it. In this game it's over 6 seconds.

Shield dropping speed is also insane. You can practically do any attack out of a run now by canceling the run with a shield, dropping it, and then attacking.

Some characters also have very quick run stop animations, also allowing you to do whatever attack you want out of a run.

You can not cancel out of hit-stun. That is a change from Brawl. The ledge isn't as magnetic. Ground speed slightly faster. More attacks auto-cancel. Some moves have shorter landing-lag, some have longer.

What do you mean by the ledge options don't change after 100%? Does that involve hogging the edge?

I'm glad someone started a list on the changes from Brawl to SSB4. Not many people realize theses important differences. The fast-fall cancel seems useful; a lot of good information.

"-You cannot regrab someone for a few seconds after letting them go."

So, just to clarify, does this only apply to grab releases? Or does it apply to throws as well, thus making chain grabs no longer a thing?

Throws and releases, I believe. Chain grabs are no longer a thing, no.

There is no longer a slow getup. In the previous installments, if your percent was 100% or more, you will always get back on the stage slowly, no matter which option you chose. The only way around that was to let go, jump, then use an aerial.
