of all the threads that need to be locked, this one is right up there at the top of the list. there is no chance in hell, frozen over or otherwise, that master chief will be in Brawl.

the halos are ridiculously fun games. nothing compares to 4 player co-op right now. people who don't like action packed shooters, i understand that they don't like games like halo, but it seems like a lot of people don't like it BECAUSE its so popular, and always talk **** about it. get a life. not directed at anyone in particular btw..

There is no way that Nintendo's flagship characters, Mario, Link, DK, etc. will appear on an Xbox. No way Nintendo's potential top selling game would appear on an Xbox either.

I agree. Halo: Combat Evolved is a solid FPS on the XBox (and it's on a console, so that's quite a feat[It's just the sequels I haven't enjoyed so much. I guess I'm just weird like that >_<]), but if people want to over-exaggerate the potential of the series in crossovers, let them. It's not like this hasn't been done before here. I think people are bashing this because it's XBox (the 360 is a great system, it's just the fanboys that suck ***).

Halo is arguabley one of the best franchises out there, and Nintendo fanboys will still say it sucks. Oh dear me. I used to be like that though, when I was a ninty fan. I was reluctant to buy a sony ericsson phone, just because it was sony, but I did and it was the best phone I ever had ( still have it) and I took it from there. I like Nintendo still, but I much prefer Microsoft. Sony are awesome, have an awesome phone and TV from them, and I would get a PS3 if I wasn't strapped for cash. So dont go calling me bias, guize.

I can understand the interest for some in having Master Chief as a character, simply because Halo is such a big game and there are many who love it. (I don't happen to be a Halo Player)

However, the simple fact remains that it has already been stated that Sakurai will only be admitting 3-4 Third Party Characters, if not only 2, and the main requirement of these characters is that

They Must Have Appeared on a Nintendo Console at some point.

Halo is solely owned by Xbox (Microsoft), and as such has never appeared on either Playstation Consoles, or Nintendo Consoles. Halo probably will NEVER appear on these two consoles, due largely in part that it is Xbox's main source of income, and therefore would not make much sense to give it up to another company. It would be like playing Super Mario Galaxy on PS3, or Zelda TP on Xbox 360. It's just not going to happen.

Master Chief is never going to set foot outside the Halo franchise, he is not going to appear in the movie, or in the RTS game, and has never appeared in another game. It's bungie's little baby.
