It actually wasn't boasting. I was postulating a counter argument to anyone who feels I should never be king. It was also bait for anyone who felt I wasn't qualified to testify as to why they felt that way, since to not challenge my postulation is to assume that I have a point.

Reason? I intend to lead Town to victory of course, and having a gun helps. It may or may not have to do with my role, but I'm unfamiliar with the possibilities that n0 holds, so I will refrain from saying anything more. But it's certainly within town's interest.

Soup's argument of credibility is of merit, however those with more credibility may be scum, so that's the obvious coin toss. Also, you seem to be contradicting your earlier statement regarding wanting someone who's easier to read, but not as good at holding a gun as say myself or more credible players.

You're trying make your skill a factor into getting a gun and you come into this thread expecting people to buy in what you're saying. I don't understand why you care. Soup, your painting of my slot as being 'boastful' is odd considering that such an element isn't indicative of anything.

Rake, your "tangential point" was inconsequential because it didn't serve as evidence to debunk my point. As for how I would act, uh, you've seen me with a gun, haven't you? Always pro-town.

Soup is more or less doubting me without postulating a good reason for why I shouldn't be king (he hasn't substantiated this stance at all). However, I assert that, If I get the gun, I'll do the BarDulL thing and get reads on everyone, easy peezy. I doubt I'll be easier to read than, say, any of the "credible" players, however I have confidence that we'll succeed anyway.

Actually, the first thing I'll do is set up standard mafia rules within the game itself. I'll execute anyone who reaches a "majority vote", and I will act as a "sub-mod" by keeping up vote counts within the game. Everyone is free to vote for whoever they want, even for me, but not much good that'll do you since voting for me is absolutely counter productive. However, I reserve the right to execute anyone at anytime whenever and for whatever reason I please, however I promise it won't be unjust in any way, shape, or form, and will be within bounds of human rationality.

@Mod - Oh yeah, that reminds me: it totes makes sense for us to be able to talk about who gets King'd during this phase imho, since having someone be "Kingmaker" on n0 is kinda pointless without giving them some kind of information to let them make a legitimate decision, also makes things interesting in terms of connections and what not pre-RVS. Apologies if we weren't supposed to do that though, you kinda said "ok you guys can confirm now" but didn't reassert that we weren't suppose to talk n0 after the mishap with the role PMs and people posting...or something.

When you host your own Mafia kingmaker game, you can allow others to post. Otherwise, I would like it if you follow my rules (and if something doesn't seem right, point it out by PM at least).
