Ok edge...here comes some advice. ^^
Overall...I think you have what it takes to become a solid Marth in the near future. You just have to slow down a bit. To me, it was like you had to always be in aggressive combat. I admit I play somewhat aggressive, but I am a bit more accurate on certain follow ups, because I know what happens after I connect with a certain attack, on a certain character. Your tech chasing was pretty neat. But when you grab a Fox in the middle of the stage, chain grab the living daylights outa him until the late 20% percents, then follow up with up tilts and then F-Smash. If you grab Fox near the edge of the stage, just throw him off, even at 0%. Remember...in melee...its all about ring outs (edgeguarding), not KOs.
Allow me to teach you a really simple edge guard with Marth against Fox. Ok so Fox is using his upB to come to the stage, if you have a hunch that it is going to hit you, use your counter. The counter will knock the Fox so low that he will have no choice but to use his Up B again to recover onto the stage. So while the Fox is still falling from your counter, jump after him. The second he stops himself with an Up B, swat him with your fair, then you use your Up B to grab the stage. Fox is dead. Pretty clever, huh? Oh and never use charged F-smashes. =P
Now as for your movement. The key is to first master l-canceling. You cancel some of your aerials, but you miss a few, but you'll get that, so no need to touch on that. Now I notice you roll a bit too much. After a SHFFL serial, instead of rolling away, use your wave dashing instead. Why? Because you can't attack out of a roll, plus it’s laggy. But an attack can be done out of a wave dash, and it has barely any lag. The last thing for movement is...what to do after a SHFFL fair. Marths main approaches are his dash dancing grabs, d-tilt, and SHFFL single fair. A void using the dash A as an approach, only use it for a follow up…most of the time anyway. Double fairs are mainly used as a follow up, after you connect with a grab or a single fair. So... if your SHFFL single fair hits a shield, you can dash behind your foe and grab him! Why? Because when Marths SHFFL single fair is cancelled, you can dash dance, or spot dodge right after it, before your foe can make a move on yah! Isn't Marth cool? And if your SHFFL misses all together, you can dash away; your foe will then make a move and miss, then dash back in with a grab! :D
Hope that helps...if yah have any questions, just ask me. Or leave me a comment on youtube, I like live there. lol. I'll subscribe yah youtube account; I hope you do the same for me. Take care!
