They made no sense.
The anime avatar thing also made no sense as you find that on every character board. It's an online community associated with a Japanese game, so people are sure to be exposed to other japanese related things.

I heard Marth boards want MK banned because they're too lazy to actually keep a secondary that has a decent (decent being something better than 65-35 if that is to be true) MU and/or improve his metagame so that he actually can stand a chance against MK (again, only assuming he doesn't already have that).

I respect how you guys run your stuff if you really do run it that way. I,ve randomly gone in to the brawl boards and leave fast due to johns and MK crap. But really wish the pichu boards were like that before i was banned from them vs everyone telling me pichu sucks and OMFG pichu is light WTF pichu hurts himself LOL short range. marth is better.

NEO and mikeHAZE, the two best Marth players, are anti-ban. I feel the Marth boards are as split as the rest of the community over the issue, basically for the same reasons. Not a whole lot of match-up bias there. And not everybody plays solely Marth.

K. So like this is a good time to post out my thoughts, I'll probably interpret it as flaming, but l'll do my best to take it like a man.
I second Marth in brawl just sayin
First off, I SOLELY lurk in the Marth boards. Sometimes I think my Marth is pretty legit, but wifi/poor tourney results won't be able to say anything. I'd post in the other threads than the GD, but l'm still in the ropes of zoning and stage control and what not. And somehow, just saying "oh Fair > your whole move set just doesn't suit me. I'd be happy to give advice and actually be part of the board because you guys are pretty chill and funny all the time. I lol alot from the responses you guys have, esp with the Steel v Junk fox dittos and sometimes l can't tell if you guys are like brothers or enemies.
My thoughts on Marth boards : Emo/Elite/Sarcastic/funny/anime.

With the emo stuff, I'm just talking about where they talk about how MK is the worst matchup (before they didn't really say that iirc, might be wrong though).
With the elitist attitude, when the Marth boards came to Mario boards, the way l saw it, was intensive flame war. I mean we go back and forth, saying who can gimp better, cape outranges fair, blah blah. I totally understand the fact Marth has superior tools no MATTER how simple it looks. People don't understand that Marth's Fair is probably his best tool, to the fact, for zoning/spacing/its disjointed, it does more damage at it's tip, it's really good and all. Sometimes us boards (myself) we tend to intepret it as if Fair is overlooked or something. (wording is bad here atm) basically l mean like " oh fair ruins ur whole move set ur useless" it looks like our character has no chance against Marth... but when we look at real life matchs.. it looks like the character does stand a chance against Marth...
But again, l understand it's reality that Marth is a superior character with superior tools then most of the high/mid/low tier cast. Also, since you guys are all 1337, l sometimes want to post in threads where it's obvious and stuff but like l don't want to be false in what l say and have the whole board flame me/correct me because well l just got put down. Like for example, I'm pretty sure Marth boards have rememebered Almostlegendary no? Well, l wish l was like him but he got obv flamed and got put down, well maybe because he wanted to be next Steel2nd lol.
When the Marth boards came to Luigi boards, for MU discussion, after lurking all of your MU's discussions, l honestly did not want to put up with a league of smarts who can put up a wall of text. And it's VERY DEPRESSING to the fact as a Luigi close range combat, that many boards will just say oh " our dtilt > your ground game ggs its 7/3 ***** get @ me son". Honestly **** ****ing pisses me off because, once you get inside, YOU STAY INSIDE, sometimes the Marth boards make it look like that Marth will stay at tipper range at 100% of the match. BUT AGAIN!, I understand it's reality once, you play a pro at high level play, that's the reality. Hmm.. I forgot what else l wanted to say about the 1337 attitude lol..
Well l can't think of any other b!tchy attitude right now.. because right now lm only looking at the positives of the Marthians.. so....
With the sarcastic attitude.. sometimes it confuses me. I've gotten to talk and chill with my Marth NY brothers, MintyFlesh, PD, Rukkiko, Chaos Marth and other few that l may have missed. PD always tells me how they're always being sacrastic and ****, l mean sometimes when l read some of the posts (no example atm forgive me pls) l can't tell if you guys are just *****ing at each other, messing with each other by love, or idk whatever bull****. But yeah, sometimes this is a positive or a negative towards that elitist attitude... so idk.. really lol..
With the funny attitude, that's one of the main reasons why l ****ing visit Marth boards.. you guys don't look stuck up at all when you guys crack jokes... l mean.. to be honest.. the funniest **** that ever goes, is like when junk and steel are arguing but you can never tell if its out of love or they really mean it lol. And the fact NEO makes probably the most golden posts ever..
With the whole anime avy trend attitude.. can't say much.. but it's ****ing hilarious... lol.. besides that, l like looking for new animes and sometimes Marth boards are my reference lol.
So to conclude my post... I'm a pretty gay scrubby player, and have taken Marth in tourneys before... but haven't placed godly or anything.. but when l play him l feel like l do have a good sense of knowledge of what l'm doing really.. esp when it comes to ledge traps lol.. l hope my post didn't seem harsh if anyone even read it and l'll try to take the posts directed to me like a man and not a *****.
p.s i think steel probably has the most daily changing avatars for anime and ****,

not really, i mean play some neo on wifi he finally makes the matchup to be 7/3 to be honest since hes been playing zhao's luigi everyday and realizes that powershielding is bull**** when he can just limit his options like a pro would and ****

and mostly cus i powershield and predict everything, the nearest thing to pro marth is mintyflesh whose like ranked 7 in ny pr and the fact he hasnt placed like 1st place before lmao.

Um, yeah, I guess he would be. I'm pretty sure he only plays Marth in tourneys. Most of the top Marth mains do, but I know Havok played MK at Genesis, hmm, I think Bardull went all Marth, but he has MK in his post, so maybe he's picking him up. IDK, you have to ask them themselves.

That's basically what this was for anyway. That's kind of how I feel also, except I've been trying to help out where I think I can and if I'm wrong, I usually get corrected and not flamed and then I learn something as well. You just can't be arrogant about it unless you have immunity like the cool kids there do.
