Marth 3.5 question

With the reduction in his dash grab range, would this affect JC grabs?

JC Grab range seems unaffected, from what I can tell. Then, this is my first time playing P:M in awhile,so...

Jump Cancel Grab uses a character's Standing Grab, not the Dash Grab (this is why JC grab is valuable, because it lets you slide while performing the lower cooldown standing grab).

So no, the Dash Grab tweak does not affect JC Grab at all.

Why is it that Marth can SH Bair to Fair/Uair/Dair/Side-b when all he can do in Melee is DJ out of it? Similar things like SH Uair AC with Falco, SH Bair AC with Fox, SH Bair Nair with Jigglypuff are also possible (that I all greatly enjoy).

Also what's with the sound effect changes for Marth? Am I hearing things? Are they ported from Melee or something? They kind of sound worse than I remember compared to 3.02, less loud or something.

^Marth's SFX do seem different. I much prefer them. I always played 3.02 modded with melee sfx, because I thought they were a bit wimpy. They're still kind of wimpy, but I like them more. YMMV, of course.
