^And yeah, I agree. I felt like I've ran into quite a few married people on here, I guess they haven't come across the thread or they don't care.

Thanks to all those who have participated (who were married anyways)!

Here is a question for anyone (married), What do you do for your 1 year anniversary? Buzz is, er, confused. HA! As am I. ^_^

What an awesome thread.

Just makes me feel that within a community like this, responsibility and respect are few of many values that are maintained in Smashboards.

Well, the original plan for me and my wife was to go out to eat, and then leave our son with his grandmother and go to a hotel and spend some quality time together ;)

Unfortunately, finances did not allow for the plan, so we just went out to eat on Firday. On Saturday we celebrated by smoking some weed and playing Smash. Rainbow Cruise is the most amazing stage ever when you're high!

Why are non married people posting? LOL No offense, but they keep popping up and if they keep doing so this thread will be closed.

The only good side effect is that its keeping this thread alive.

Jam Stunna, well, I can honestly say Buzz and I don't go get high, but smashing sure does keep us entertained. ;)

Yeah, its not exactly my cup of tea. I've only done it three times, all with my wife. It's okay I guess. Some things are amazing (Rainbow Cruise) and some things are not (feeling extremely sleepy).

Well tonight I'm making sigs and he's playing Mario Strikers. We can't stay up for the life of us on Christmas Eve so we're trying to keep ourselves entertained until tomorrow! ^_^

I just wanted to ask: what made you guys choose December 29th to get married? We chose December 21st because it was the first day of winter.

It was just a day that worked for everyone, really. There was nothing particularly special about that day.

Obviously we're married....hits the name. Haha

Married life is awesome. We've enjoyed every minute of it! It takes work sometimes but it's worth it. It's easier and cheaper too.

I'm sure most remember Moast Pi that was held in our honor in July for our wedding. I've been busy working, and Baha has been busy graduating. My thoughts are everywhere today. This post doesn't make much sense. lol

I'm not sure which of these pics I've posted, so I'm just posting them again.

Baha, Scav and the gang smashing before the ceremony:

Me going down the aisle:

Just married!

Our first dance:

Baha getting the garter: (It was hilarious! I was laughing so hard!)

My shoes were so comfy!

And the rings:

A quick peek at the wedding, but it was freaking amazing. Nothing went wrong. I guess cause I had no expectations because I was like most of you guys and didn't think about what the perfect wedding would be like and never had expectations. I just played video games with my brother my whole childhood. Haha

My gosh. Mrs. Bahamut, that looks like the picture-perfect wedding to me. Congratulations and I hope that good times are had for many more years to come!

Well, I'm not a married person myself. XD; But hey, when I do finally tie the knot, that'll never slow my smashing down. Hopefully the person that makes me the luckiest man in the world enjoys a little gaming too. :3

So how long was everyone dating before they got married? My wife and I dated for seven months before we got married.

We dated 1 1/2 months before we were officially engaged, but we had talked about marriage after the first month. ;)

After that we were engaged for 3 months.

Does marriage to God count?
That all depends. Are you a male? Cuz God hates gay marriage. LOL, don't hate on me, hate on the bible.

Anyway, I plan on joining the ranks of the married smashers in the near future. Hopefully I can get my girlfriend into Brawl so that we can be a married smashing couple. :)

That's really great. One of the concerns that we ran into was that my wife and I were afraid that people would think that we were only getting married because she was pregnant. She got pregnant in the fourth month of our relationship. We had already talked about marriage, and all the pregnancy did was speed up those discussions, because we felt that it was important that our son be born to parents that were married, not just dating. It may sound like semantics, but we both felt strongly about that.

Baha and I were together 7 years before we got married. It was the smartest, yet hardest thing to do. But we got engaged after 6 months of being together. So we were engaged for a total of 6 years and 6 months....a pretty long time. But we weren't financially or emotionally ready to get married. We were very young. We still are pretty young...but considering we were 16 and now we are almost 23...

Thats good. It's important that the child has a father and a mother. ;)

We're hoping to add some young smashers to the family soon. Hehe!

So anyone else here married? I know Buzz and I have seen many engaged couples at tournaments. It's nice to have someone to support you in what you do as a smasher. Most people won't ever understand. ;)
