C'MON LOU LET'S GO LET'S GO GET HYPED BABY C'MOOOOONSome of the first Smash results are coming in. In Winners Bracket Round 1 Big Lou (Luigi) took down Y.b.M (Kirby) 2-0; Trent7 (Sonic) outlasted Lou (Game & Watch) 2-1; and Lain (Dedede) blanked Watkins1247 (Ike, Meta Knight) 2-0.
I thought that was JUDGE as in the judge we know.... My heart broke for a moment :|In other Winners Bracket Round 1 results, King Beef (Peach) defeated King Yoshi (Pikachu) 2-0, both at two stock, while Judge (Meta Knight) upended L-Cancel (Olimar) 2-0.
LOLMLGWinners Bracket Round 1 continues: Blue Rogue (Wario) took down Smash64 (Ness, Diddy) in two tight, one-stock games. Blue Rogue ended Game 1 with flatulence from Wario!
In Winners Bracket Round 1 action, Ripple (Donkey Kong) defeated Crash (Luigi) 2-1 to move on to Round 2. The match was interesting, considering Ripple ended Games 1 and 3 with two stock on the board, yet lost Game 2.
DJ Iskascribble (Meta Knight) downed Punishment Divine (Wario) in two close games. Game 2 went to time, with DJ at 101% and Punishment at 162%. DJ moves to Winners Bracket Round 2.
Hunger (Wario) defeated Malcolm (Wario) 2-1. After dropping Game 1, Hunger took the final two games at two stock
Winners Bracket Round 1 continues: Fonz (Lucario) over Mav (Falco) 2-1 with a two-stock win in Game 3; Summer (Meta Knight) defeated Ankoku (Marth) 2-0.
**** sonKrystendez (Wario) upset Orlando Top 8 finisher, DEHF (Falco), 2-1 in Winners Bracket Round 2.

Apparently this isn't true o.oAn interesting development in Winners Round 2. Before the game, Coneyz (Dedede) told Will (Donkey Kong) he would not use the chain grab against Donkey Kong, despite the huge advantage it poses. The players split the first two games and Game 3 went down to the wire. Near the end, Coneyz accidentally started a grab, let go on purpose, and basically allowed Donkey Kong to hit him, causing him to lose the match...

Selbrik (Meta Knight, Dedede) knocked off Hunger (Wario) 2-0 in Winners Bracket Round 2.
Kel (Meta Knight) blanked Holmes (Wolf) 2-0, with both games being two-stock affairs, in Winners Bracket Round 2.
Tyrant (Meta Knight) knocked off Shugo (Falco, Meta Knight) 2-1 in Winners Bracket Round 3. Game 3 went to one stock at 80% for Tyrant before he pulled out the victory.
Infern Angelis (Snake) edged Arty (Falco) 2-1 in Winners Bracket Round 3. The first two games were close affairs, but Game 3 went to Angelis with three stock still on the board!
Havok (Meta Knight) defeated Speed (Sonic) 2-1 in Winners Bracket Round 3. The first game was a two-stocker for Havok, but the next two were much closer. Havok won Game 3 with one stock left at 54%.

Fizzleboy, an unranked player from Ohio, defeated Chibo Sempai in two games in Winners Bracket Round 3. Both Games 1 and 2 went to time, with both players above 100% on their final stock.
Seibrik (Meta Knight) knocked off Argent Stew (Lucario) in two tightly-contested games in Winners Bracket Round 3.
Tearbear (Meta Knight), using a Wiimote, defeated pikapika (Pikachu, shockingly) after dropping Game 1. Game 3, at Smashville, was a two-stocker for Tearbear.
NEEDS MOAR MARIO BABYBoss (Luigi) took down Fury (Meta Knight) in a three-game series. Fury won Game 2 at two stock, but dropped the first and third affairs with Boss at one stock. Game 1 ended with an up-B from Boss.

watIn Losers Bracket Round 1, Y.B.M. (Kirby) defeated L-Cancel 2-1. In Game 1, Y.B.M. grabbed L-Cancel right before Yoshi's Island flipped, pinning them both beneath the stage. Only Y.B.M. was able to recover, giving him the win. Praise be to Kirby!
CALEB, I HAD FAITH IN YOU!Clowsui (Falco) put forth a dominating performance against Calebyte (Mario) in Losers Bracket Round 1, winning 2-0, including a two-stock tally in Game 1.
Big Lou (Luigi) downed Judo (Sheik) 2-0. Big Lou won Game 1, despite 126% damage done by Judo in one chain.
DEHF (Falco) bounced back from an unexpected loss in the Winners Bracket to take out Y.b.M. (Kirbry) in two games, both one-stock affairs.

Losers Bracket Round 2 is in full effect. Some results: Allied (Snake) defeated Timmy (Meta Knight, Dedede) 2-0, both at one stock; Dojo (Meta Knight) outlasted Prizefighter Inferno (Ness, Yoshi) 2-1. The latter match was another one of the more interesting, as Inferno managed to take Game 2 at one stock, but lost both Games 1 and 3 to Dojo at three stock.
Losers Bracket Round 3 results: Cheese (Ice Climbers, Meta Knight) defeated King Beef (Peach) 2-1; DEHF (Falco) cruised over Crash (Luigi) 2-0, including a three-stocker in Game 1.
Losers Bracket Round 3 results: DJ Iskascribble (Meta Knight) defeated ITT (Sonic) 2-1. All three games were one-stock affairs, with Game 3 going to time as DJ was at 128% and ITT at 136%. Cannot get much closer than that.

o.oOok (Donkey Kong) continues his stunning run through Columbus. This relatively unknown player has knocked off some impressive names along the way. In Losers Bracket 7, he dispatched Mike Haze (Meta Knight, Marth, Dedede) 2-1. How far can Ook go in this tournament?

Winners Bracket Round 6 is raging onward. Nick Riddle (Zero Suit Samus) rallied to beat Tyrant (Meta Knight) 2-1. Elsewhere, second-seeded Ally (Snake) had to dig out of a 0-1 hole against Sans (Ike) to win 2-1.
Four players remain in the Winners Bracket: Mew2King, Lee Martin, Ally, and Nick Riddle.
UPSET ALERT: Nick Riddle knocked off second-seeded Ally 2-0 with Zero Suit Samus. The win stunned the crowd. He now moves to the Winners Bracket Finals
Top-seeded Mew2King (Meta Knight) easily moved on past Lee Martin (Meta Knight, Diddy) 2-0 in the Winners Bracket Semifinals. He now faces the upstart Nick Riddle for a spot in the Championship Match.
Fourth-rated ESAM took down third-ranked Tyrant 2-1 in Losers Bracket Round 10.
Gnes eliminated Tearbear 2-0 in Losers Round 11. In the other Round 11 match, Dojo took out ESAM 2-0.
Ally and Lee Martin won Losers Bracket matches to set up a meeting between the two in the Losers Bracket Semifinals. We're now down to four players!
Mew2King destroyed Nick Riddle in the Winners Finals 3-0. The victory included a three-stock performance in Game 2. Mew2King moves to the Championship Match. Nick Riddle heads to the Losers Bracket FInals.
Ally made short work of Lee Martin in the Losers Bracket Semifinals, winning 2-0. Game 1 was a two-stocker.
Nick Riddle held a 2-0 lead entering the continuation series with Ally in the Losers Bracket Finals, but it barely mattered. Ally spewed out four straight wins to take the series 4-2. He will now meet Mew2King in the Championship Match.
FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUMew2King is the MLG Columbus Champion! He defeated Ally 3-1 in the Finals. Ally took Game 1, but M2K dominated from that point onward. The victory is the second consecutive MLG title for Mew2King.
For Mario mains: Xero knocked out loser's round two, Caleb knocked out loser's round 1, Kirin knocked out loser's round 4, beating ADHD on the way(losing two Kain, the same person he lost to in winners), and Boss is beat in winner's 4th by M2K, then plows his way all the way to loser's eighth where he's beaten by L_Storm. Mario didn't do very well here, but perhaps at MLG's next event we can succeed! =D!
