While a puff video archive would probably be good, I think it would make this thread incredibly long, especially if the same format was kept (though it probably wouldn't be)

Maybe more threads like this but for other puff players?

Or just another (new) thread with all videos (more like the old video thread)?

I remember seeing the first and second match of a set between Ken and Mango a while back on youtube. Mango won the first match I believe, and Ken won the second, but there was never a third. And now I can't even find the first or second. Anyone know anything about that set?

Okay guys, and sorry for the double post, I'm still working on downloading all the footage. Today's moved a little slow because I've got some very serious things going on, IRL, but I'm getting this as quickly as possible. I would say it'll probably be done by next week. And I say that because of all the footage I'm getting, not because the video will take -that- long. I've made FX-happy projects in a matter of hours, and I think the only thing that could -really- take **** editing is a sexy opening. I'll keep this updated, for we must all hail the Boxtag.

ANNOYING NEWS


Good news - I more or less finished the video

Bad news - My editing software is f*cking up big, big time. I have been trying several solutions. For the detailed problem, read on.


Details are, I use Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro. It's good software, much better than Windows Movie Maker. But, no matter what computer I use, even if I get the program from the same soure as someone else, I always end up having tech problems with it. My old projects would have imported files that would randomly decide to eliminate the video stream, this time, however, all the video streams worked during editing. However, towards the end of the project, video media started to just randomly offline itself. It continues to reset as such every few minutes (maybe like, 10). The way I would make it visible on the timeline again was to open up the trimmer (where you cut pieces of video and throw em on the timeline), and let it autoload the video, which would put it back online again. But, the media keeps offing itself again. I've tried downloading a bunch of codecs, altering options in the Preferences, reboots, etc. It's incredibly frustrating, because I made a **** video for MaNg0, but can't render it all.

But, something I'm always good at is making several other ideas. So, I haven't given up yet. Not just because I'm an amazing person (flex?), but, f*ck, I pulled an allnighter and most of today working on this, I'm finishing it.

So, we'll see what else I can do. Wish me luck.


BTW, MaNg0, hope I see you up here in NorCal. I deserve it XD

Okay quick and final editing update. My last resort idea actually worked, so the video will be up. It'd be up now, but it messed up and only saved the final segment. So, i gotta wait for a -whiiiiiile- for it to get all pretty and whatnot. There are some changes I'd liked to have made, but I do not want to try and deal with my software's malfunctioning anymore, but it's okay. The video will probably be ****.

Hopefully this render won't have any problems in it, and I can post it asap. I'll be posting the link on this thread, and then in the combo vid forum. Uuuuuummm, not quite sure what else to say. Thanks to those who were all "yay !!!" and whatnot. I'm lookin forward to the finished product.
