The Narrator gives exposition to the story. They can have any voice.![]()
This will be a fandub of sorts of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. The way it will work is I will play voice work over the cut scenes of the game, almost to give the impression that the game had voice acting along with it. Casting will be split up, and parts will be added as the project gets further along.
Voices Needed (in order of appearance)
Narrator (one appearance)
Auditions received: N/A
Audition line #1: “In the land of Hyrule, there echoes a legend. A legend held dearly by the Royal Family that tells of a boy…”
Audition line #2: “Done with the battles he once waged across time, he embarked on a journey. A secret and personal journey…A journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend…”
The Skull Kid is the primary antagonist of the game. He once merely played mischevious tricks, but now takes them too far. Abusing the magical power of Majora’s Mask, he plans to destroy the land of Termina by smashing the Moon into the middle of Clock Town. His voice is higher-pitched, almost that of a child, but he speaks almost like a madman.![]()
Skull Kid (major character, few appearances)
Auditions received: N/A
Audition line #1 (after his fairies have scared Link’s horse, rendering him unconscious. Halfway through the line, Skull Kid realizes that he’s met Link before): “Hee, hee. You two fairies did great! I wonder if he has anything good on him…huh? This guy…Well, that shouldn’t be a problem.”
Audition Line #2 (after stealing Link’s horse and eventually being caught up to by Link with the horse nowhere to be found): “What’s with that stupid horse of yours?! It doesn’t listen to a word that’s said to it…There’s no point in riding a thing like that, so I did you a favor and got rid of it…Hee, hee…”
Audition Line #3 (during the Final Hour before the Moon crashes, Skull Kid taunts Link, showing the futility of his actions. This is the peak of Skull Kid’s insanity): “If it’s something that can be stopped, then just TRY AND STOP IT!!!”
While Skull Kid is possessed by Majora’s Mask, Skull Kid and the voice of Majora speak simultaneously. Majora’s Mask holds the soul of Majora, and its voice plays over anyone who wears it, speaking the same words in the exact same way. Majora’s Mask eventually discards its “puppet”, Skull Kid, and speaks on its own. I plan to do this role myself, but if someone submits a better voice, I will allow them to do it instead. This will probably not be an easy role, due to the need to speak Skull Kid’s lines simultaneously.![]()
Majora (major character, few appearances)
Auditions received: N/A
Audition line #1 (simultaneously with Skull Kid): “Hee, hee. You two fairies did great! I wonder if he has anything good on him…huh? This guy…Well, that shouldn’t be a problem.”
Audition Line #2 (simultaneously with Skull Kid): “If it’s something that can be stopped, then just TRY AND STOP IT!!!”
Audition Line #3 (Skull Kid’s usefulness has ended, and The Mask is now on its own. It has an evil, deep voice): “Certainly, he had far too any weaknesses to use my power. A puppet that can no longer be used is mere garbage. This puppet’s role has just ended…”
Tael is one of Skull Kid’s fairies. He’s young, so he’s not exactly the best at what he does. He’s Tatl’s younger brother. He should have a childish voice.![]()
Tael (minor character, few appearances)
Auditions received: N/A
Audition Line #1 (after Skull Kid steals Link’s ocarina. This line should be said like a child wanting to play with his friend’s toy): “Ooh, ooh! What a pretty ocarina…Hey, Skull Kid, lemme touch it! I wanna see!”
Audition Line #2 (Tatl has told him that he can’t play with the ocarina, or he’ll break it. He is very disappointed): “…Aw, but sis…W…why can’t I try it out, too?”
Audition Line #3 (during the Final Hour before the Moon crashes, Tael tries to tell Link and Tatl how to stop the moon from falling. He is cut off by Skull Kid smacking him away): “Swamp. Mountain. Ocean. Canyon. Hurry…The four who are there…Bring them here…”
Tatl is one of Skull Kid’s fairies. She gets separated from Skull Kid and Tael, and starts to follow Link, blaming him for the separation. She starts out cold and hating Link, but she eventually warms up to him and becomes a little nicer. She’s Tael’s older sister. She should have a high voice, more mature than Tael.![]()
Tatl (major character, many appearances)
Auditions received: N/A
Audition Line #1 (Tatl is scolding Tael, telling him he can’t play with the ocarina): “You can’t, Tael! What would we do if you dropped it and broke it? No way! You can’t touch it!!!”
Audition Line #2 (Tatl has been separated from Skull Kid and her brother and is trying to call them back): “Whoa! Whoa! Skull Kid, wait for me! I’m still here!!! Tael, you can’t leave without me!”
Audition Line #3 (Link and Tatl have freed the final of the Four Giants from the curses set on the Temples, and Tatl is trying to make out what the Giant is saying): “’…Call…us…’…That’s what they’re saying. Without being told, we understand. So now you’ll help us out in exchange! We’ll call you from atop the Clock Tower, so do something about him, all right?”
The Happy Mask Salesman is a mysterious fellow. He seems to appear from nowhere, and little is known about his dealings, besides his being a mask salesman. Majora’s Mask belonged to him before it was stolen. The Happy Mask Salesman should have a high voice, and speak in almost an otherworldly manner. For anyone who’s played Majora’s Mask, I want the pitch to be as close as you can get to his laughing.![]()
Happy Mask Salesman (minor character, few appearances)
Auditions received: N/A
Audition Line #1 (the Happy Mask Salesman is introducing himself to Link): “I own the Happy Mask Shop. I travel far and wide in search of masks…During my travels a very important mask was stolen from me by an imp in the woods.”
Audition Line #2 (the Happy Mask Salesman has fulfilled a promise he made to Link, and is now asking for Link to fulfill his end of the bargain): “Now, I have fulfilled my promise to you…So please, give me that which you promised me…Don’t tell me…My mask…You did…get it back…Didn’t you?”
Audition Line #3 (the Happy Mask Salesman has realized Link did not retrieve Majora’s Mask, and has gone into a rage; the Happy Mask Salesman has sudden mood swings): “What have you done to me!!! If you leave my mask out there, something terrible will happen!”

Deadline: TBA
As long as I could get them in a reasonable time. I just don't want it to be like "hey i need this this and this" and then end up getting them like, a month later. As I said I could do it for you Dark, but if you're looking for someone who has the ability to extremely dedicated then yeah, I'm out of that picture, lol. I suck at deadlines sometimes.
That farmer on whatsitsname Ranch.I have the lowest voice in history, with a slight country drawl on account of my family.
