Maining both Samus and Zamus

How many of you main both characters?

Are there actually people who play half of a match as Samus and the other half as Zamus or who at least often use both characters in a match?

i prefer Zamus because i am better with her but i find myself alternating them like every match, i just love metroid, right now i am trying to learn PT a little better.

I'm maining both atm.

I've been considering transforming mid combat for a long time. I'm getting really sick of opponents stealing armour pieces at the start of the match so I'd like to save those pieces for when they're offstage for item KOs or far away so that I have enough time to dispose two armour pieces and keep one for myself. I can transform consistently in training mode but during an actual fight the command input always takes me two tries to get it right. So I haven't really implemented this strategy yet apart from FFAs.

No. Samus' transformation takes the longest. I can't transform even immediately after a dtilt KO w/o getting punished in some way shape or form. I main Samus, not Zamus. Then again, I'd rather take a fully charged D3 fsmash than to get infinite grabbed the whole game.

I used to, hoping that someone would figure out a faster transition between the two, but stopped a long time ago.

I used to play them both equaly too but then i started playing samus more often then zero suit samus, but ive chose her once again today. Played a few matches and it was fun as hell. Gotta play more with her again

the one advantage to being good as both is that your opponent cant counterpick as well since they dont know if you held down sheild or not

You have to declare which character you're using...

I main them both i am also a big metriod fan ! Anyways transformations are defintely hard but i do them once in awhile in matches online and offline only when i am very far ahead or have knocked my opponete all the way across the stage nearly killing him and then its amrour killing time lol

another time to use it is when u have ur opponent at his last stock and u feel u can still beat him if ur Zamus

either ur samus and zamus on the last stock or just one of them the whole match still risky
give up on the transformation if it doesn't work the first time

either i main them both cause they're fun and u need to be smart with them to win

I use both. I definitely prefer the Power Suit, though, 'cause it gets really annoying having no third jump.
