I mean, I'm all for making roles but I like to think I'd actually use them.

Hell, if one of you asked me, I could even make a bunch of roles for you for free.

I've got more roles than I'll use, too, but mine are built specifically around the gimmick of my game. I've tried to design them in modular tiers; it's a house of cards. You can't take out one card and expect it to still stand, but you can remove a full story at a time without hurting the ones underneath.

Also, your mafia game won't start at the 20th, you'll have to make the thread, wait for signups, give roles, add some extra roles if there's more people than expected (which is why I plan ahead and want to write up 30 for mine, kind of a lot but hey, no chances of having too many people), etc.

And the Polly Proval makes sense. Co-hosts should have their input and, much like mafia teams, work together with the host to ensure success.

I still need a co-host for Samurai Jack Mafia. Like, I seriously need one.

With my inexperience, not to mention schedule, there's no way I'd be able to make a balanced game and reliably change the phases over when need be all on my own.

Any takers? I'd kindly like to ask the help of someone who's a thoroughly seasoned veteran host of these games.

Yeah. I've already considered the possibility myself as I said.

In fact, I had enough roles before having the idea of adding more for safety, with Swamp's Villains Mafia being a big reason why.

Anything I added after my initial draft is essentially extra roles for if I have more people than said initial draft requires.
