M2K vs Forte: n-air beats tornado?

If you havent seen these matches, youre missing out. Anyway.. the question I had is:

When Forte is attempting to return to the stage, m2k uses what appears to be a ledge-dropped n-air, and knocks forte out of the tornado, killing him (this happened in both of the matches, you cant miss it). The thing is, I swear n-air doesnt outprioritize tornado. I even tested this with a friend after watching it, and couldnt get it to work... whats the deal?

M2K used N-air right after leaving the ledge, using his invincibility frames to get inside the tornado and attack.

all of metaknights sword based attacks outprioritize all of metaknights attacks in general. therefore ftilt or fair out prioritize nair, up b, side b, tornado etc. If you've ever played pokemon think of it as how dragon pokemon are weak against other dragon pokemon lol best anaolgy i could think of but ya there it is

ummm i wasnt talking about ftilt or fair vs anything. was talking about nair vs tornado. and no, n-air does not outprioritize tornado under normal conditions.

okay well just now i actually watched the video and the first time m2k cancels out the tornado he uses a dair (look very closely) which, like a said is a sword based move. and at the end of the match, like affinity said, he must've had invincibilities frames even if for a split second and used them to his advantage. but if u dont believe anyone here just ask mew2king

i wasnt talking about whether dair beats tornado. i know dair beats tornado. i was talking about the at least two (cant remember how many times he did it) times he clearly used n-air in their two matches to beat tornado. they played twice, so maybe I was unclear by saying he did it multiple times... if he only did it once in the video I posted, I could understand your confusion. Sorry if I wasnt clear.

Anyway, this discussion was pretty much over after the first response. but thanks anyway.

any sword move beats tornado (Except glide attack, and forward B, but glide attack and forward B beat like basically any sword move MK has, it's kind of like rock paper scissors but not really)

i used ledge jump nair because i was invincible, and wanted to kill him at that % as he was recovering

when you say sword move, you arent referring to n-air, are you? i was assuming thats why you needed invincibility to beat the tornado.
