I think we might have a topic for this already, but Corneria (if allowed), Brinstar, BF, Yoshi, maybe Lylat.

only corneria against some chars. pple like samsu and shiek and a few otehrs it isn't good.

I like to go to distant planet with luigi, the leaf platforms just make his aerial attacks more efficient. Also the stages luigiking mentioned already

yeah distant plante is usualy counterpick.
frigate orpehon is good against some characters, i find it bad against marthf or sum reason, dent against mk.
counterpick norfair for diddy and snake fo sho. brintsar. just don;t do it against peach lol

batlefield +smashville obviosly.
i ahve to try out distant planet.. i don't think cahin grabbers can chain you up taht slope...

Yeah, the way I see it, luigi's recovery, in the classical sense, blows. Anything a stage can do to lessen its impact, helps.
Luigis's recovery as it relates to FO, on the other hand, is ZOMGbroken. And, FO has plenty of unlevel platforms/lack of flat space to satiate a campy (brawly?) weegee.
Honorable mentions going to
BF (wow weegee stage, except everyone knows it. everyone.)
planet (find me a tournament that will let you play it, and you can have one of these cookies)
Mansion (you won't win, but you can sell at a profit)

BF and Delfino, platforms, and delfino because the terrain keeps him out of range of spamming projectiles like lasers and what not.

Probably jungle japes, but you'll still get ***** by zoning/camping from Marth.

I like Luigi's Mansion. Lure them to the top, his main 3 KO moves are GOD there. F-Smash, U-Smash and Shoryuken kill like LOL there. It also has the benefit of two mini fight clubs, so if you're near death get a membership. They may notice your attempt and try to destroy the mansion. If so, let them, and run away (infinite tornado has a use here!!!!!) until it's back. If they get a membership at the fight club, B-Air them to LOL at their feeble attempts. Very good Luigi stage.
I also typically choose Corneria, Battlefield, and either of the Pokemon Stadiums. I'm a fan of Yoshi's Island, but I HATE Lylat and DESPISE FD. For Marth, I can hold my own against one. They like FD and BF, but FD is a better choice for them. He can't platform **** you and his big spacing advantage that Marths get on FD can be countered by your own if you're experienced with FD.

The only thing I like about Luigi's Mansion is uTilt semi-locking them under the ceiling until they Tech out of it. The biggest problem is the ceiling that they'll fight you under. We all know Luigi can KO early, right? Well not in Luigi's Mansion he can't!!

Yeah he can. It's not hard, just get them out of the bottom. Also, your offense comes at the cost of improving you defense.

Luigi's Mansion becomes a game of smart DI and Teching. It always boils down to how you avoid your opponent and how you get them caught up in a 'combo' using the ceiling. Plus those two little platforms in the lower middle make for some interesting attack patterns (if you know how to work with them). Depending on the enemy, a Back throw can be done to shoot them through the middle of the mansion to death. If they don't die, take them on the rooftop, everything kills there for Luigi (just make sure you don't have that turned against you).

Luigi's mansion kills DDD. He can't use the waddle dees effectively, and the house breaks down if he is trying to infinite you. It makes you safe from his throws because they are his best asset.

Yes and the fact that hes a heavyweight and the fact of high ceiling means cave of life. You won't get a ko until like 200%+s
Luigi's mansion is kinda gey imo. Just mostly semi-utilt ftilt locks and some fireball locks.

Bf is probably best starter neutral stage.. but problem is that.. everyone else does equally/or better than luigi here lol. And everyone else knows how to fight here.
I might have to agree on the corneria thing. Luigi's pros should outweigh the cons there. The brinstar dunno. Luigi does pretty darn well on the Metroid stages. The worst, maybe FD, personally I hate jungle japes lol. That should be his worst.

im just really good on corneria, i think im the one who made you beleiev it was his best stage during all of our dittos. but really he gets owned by anything spammy
pikachus samus, tinks, sheiks, lucarios to soem extent, i unno. yes its a good stage, but it can only be good against abotu half the cast. i would put it under good satges, probably not the best.

Battlefield is his best stage. A lot of characters are good on it but I suppose by contrast BF is WAY BETTER than FD for Luigi while other characters it's only sorta better. Can't go wrong with Smashville. The inwards slanted edges makes it easy to sweetspot the ledge out of a green missile, which helps luigi's recovery a lot.
I don't like Corneria though and I disagree with a lot of people's suggestions that it's a good course for him. He does pretty well on all of the Metroid stages however.

but most metroid stages have been banned in the new set of rules :S , still luigis mansion can is a double edged sword , you can **** there , or you can be ***** , learn how to play it , luigi can do pretty well on most platform stages because they help us in aerial comboing, which is pretty much luigis best asset, besides d-taunt

luigis mansion is generaly banend for singles cuz if dumb crap meta can do there. where as orpheon brinstar and norfair are generaly counterpicks. corneria is somtimes baneed too.
