Are you talking via wifi or just general tips and movie critique? For the latter scenario i'm sure there are plenty of willing Luigi mainers to help you out. i'm not so sure about wifi lessons though.

You have to be good at 2 things to be a dominant Luigi player in Brawl...

1. Able to powershield EVERYTHING
2. Intelligence and lots of Mindgames

You gotta get better technically and in the timing department...

Only way you will be good with luigi since he slides.

Powershield = Punish for Luigi, onlike every other character that can just shield.

Practice against lvl 9s and untill you can power shield almost every single attack than...you know there moves, when to shield, an then your ready to move on.

Also jab alot

It's impossible to have reflexes so good that you can power shield every hit. Power shielding a hit is mostly luck. Nobody purposely waits for the last second to shield, they shield as soon as they can. Spotdodging is a lot more reliable. But you also need to know when to hold down the shield for attacks that hit multiple times.

Its good to have those things to be dominant with any character lol...

Granted you might not be able to powershield EVERY attack. But if you predict moves its not too hard to do.

I suggest you read the guide on luigi first, that way you can ask more specific questions that other luigi mainers will have an easier time answering questions.
Hippiedude92 has a thread devoted to specific questions and he knows his stuff about luigi.

Make sure you have basics down like shorthopping into various moves, RARing, and doing two aerials with each shorthop (luigi is floaty enough for that).

Just give him a try with some lower level computers and practice putting yourself in different situations. Watch some luigi videos and try to mimic their style while adding your own flair into it.

Again, this will make more sense to you after some practice ;)

im getting better at being able to hit two times with each shorthop took me some time though, but im finding powershielding troublesome since i had no real need to do it with sheik or marth , yeah ive read the guide pretty good actually gave me some ideas, and ive been thinking remember falco's pillaring in melee , i think maybe luigi can do some sort of pillaring maybe dgrab -SHdair -if you manage to spike which should be easier since your going up and hes going down you could jab and finish with super jump punch if you dont spike you can continue im gonna try it out though not sure it can be done anyone want to practice with me?

WAit till you face opponents that hope that you side dodge, an theyll whip out a side dodge counter (GaW upsmash, snakes side smash)

like Aliasvee said, if you become better yourself, youll be able to predict, which is the key to powershielding.

dont use the side tilt, the jab and smash are as fast and better, the d tilit can be used to throw off peoples games by tripping, but i say to be a good wigi master your aerial combos, because you can tornado into almost any one get them in the air and punish them/know that the up+b is great for punishing people

so far you guys have been very kind and helpful so iwanted to ask a question , you see what can i possibly do when i lose control of air , sort of like when playing mk's or links (Which are rare nowadays idk why) i dont know if its me but that boomerang gets me freakin annoyed like if luigi didnt have bad traction they still push me farther or drag me for that matter luigi could use a pair of shoes made of bridgestone's although i kinda like it when i dash cancel to an upsmash he just slides really far so i have a lot of time to charge my u-smash and still reach my target anyway any ideas besides tornado falling and dair? it gets predictable... thnx

The ultimate weapon to approach someone with luigi is the fireball. Shorthopping fireballs while edging closer and closer to the opponent is luigi's best chance of getting to a camper. This takes a lot of patience and precision, because the fireballs are used more to tease out openings in an enemy than to actually damage them. When you see your chance, short hop into a tornado to close the distance. Then attack and back away from the enemy when you think they are regaining the upperhand in the match.

Backing up while shorthopping fireballs is really useful as well. Take advantage of luigi's mobility when you shoot fireballs. I will post some videos today or tommorow where i use A LOT of fireballs. The best practice in keeping a steady fireball game while making sure you don't leave yourself open is to fight against someone else who can pressure you with projectiles as well (in my vids, i go against a mario who loves to shorthop fireballs to leave me open).

Because luigi isn't the best at approaching enemies without being overly predictable, having a steady fireball game and pressuring your opponent is WeeGee's best chance at suggest, albeit it goes against luigi's offensive style of fighting.

Total epic win post. I agree totally. Shorthop fireballs are most vital to Luigi's game. You can do a offensive/defensive SH fireballs. When you do SH fireball you land with 0 lag so you can fit a grounded fireball or go in with a tornado or anything else. When the oppenent jumps and you do a SH fireball, as soon as that hitstun comes, I usually bust out a fresh up angled Fsmash for the kill. Works everytime.

Anyone who mastered the art of fireball-ing, just reachs a high level of Luigi play.

Luigi's spike is too unreliable. It's better to go for a back air. It has more range and knock back in case the down air fails to spike.

Hmm... I really haven't though much about fireballs until now. I throw 'em out every now and then, but it's mostly random stuff just so I don't so obvious with my other moves (which still fails and I'm still obvious). I'll definitely work on my fireball game more.

i know its unreliable but i mean its GOT to have some timing i think it spikes when people are hit by the wind the arms do when he is spinning its like a moment after the move is started the fireballs have helped though they rack up damage and stun QD happy ikes

Again, it's fully unreliable. The hitbox is epicly small, you have to be quick and extremely precise about it. It's behind him where he spins and twirls his arms. Your best off with Bair stage spike or if your lucky taunt spike lulz
