I can see it now. I'll strap on the old snow shoes, make the three-day trek from my igloo to the nearest trade outpost and exchange a copy of Brawl for 3 trout and an acorn. Then me and my pet pengiun Rufus can enjoy a nice weekend of Brawling as we munch on decious seal blubber. Maybe this year's three months of complete darkness won't be half bad!

I know the American's get Spring Break shortly after, but we get it the day the game comes out, so no missing school/work at the release...which is when we will want to play the game the longest. We will have the time. This wasn't meant to be a thread for American's to flame Canadian's - it was for Canadian's to realize a good thing about the date of the Delay.

Even though I don't get March break anymore (no more school
), the delay has certainly turned out in my favour. I had huge deadlines around mid-February, and I just know I wouldn't have finished them (well) because for all that I would try otherwise, Brawl would have taken up allll my time.JJJ.Brawler

I had mine pre-ordered, but then I realized it's much more fun to stand out in the cold, just so you can have it the next day - so I canceled it.

Ha, that's actually the same as when Spring Break starts at my university, so I'm pretty pumped about the release date change. Now I'm able to spend half a week playing Brawl without sleeping and not have to worry about falling behind in my classes.

This logic fails.
You could have eaily paid a week's equivelant (spell?) of Brawl before March 9th, if they hadn't delayed it. Saying "I'm glad it was delayed, because I have that week off!" Is just stupid.

And, @darkhamsterlord: I'm not saying I'd rather have the release date March 9th, I'm just saying...now that it is THERE IS A BENEFIT that comes with it. I would still rather have it released Feb. 10th.

But you see...I will already have MY spring break during that week also ^_^I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the delay for people like me that live in Canada, is a good thing.
Why? Because March 9th is the Sunday before the Canadian March Break, so we will get to experience the awesomeness of Brawl for a whole week straight!

And, for Ridley's sake, we're not saying the delay was GOOD, we're saying it benefited us. If he was going to have a delay anyways I'm happy it was on the 9th of March. Bloody muffins, we have something finally in our hands and some people STILL want to take it away out of jealousy.

I live in Canada though On the west coast, though, we're closest to Japan! That means I get Brawl before all of you!

Actually, in some states in the USA, marijuana is legal for recreational use in small amounts, the states of Alaska, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, New York, and Maine, have decriminilized Marijuana.
The states of Washington, Montana, Maryland, Vermont, and Rhode Island have legalized the drug for medical purposes only.
