It changes what classes she can get, and make Cynthia her sister. Which is one of the reasons why I can't pair Robin with her.

As a side note. Thank you for all the likes on my post and glad you guys really liked it. I literally spent an hour writing it up and making sure my evidence and research was valid and fixed any errors I saw in the sentences. Totally worth it though. Glad I made a good impression to, it's the least I could do .

While it's true Lucina was considered for an alternate costume for Marth and the similarities and connections between them in Awakening was the reason for the idea initially as Sakurai himself said. I don't think they had a costume swap made yet as it was still in the planning phases and when I think of considered, I just think of an idea they were thinking of before working on it and then changing it. Maybe its just me, but I'm glad you guys see it as a made creation, but expanded upon and enhanced. That after changing their minds on the idea, decided to create a full fledged playable character with perhaps some minor things from the costume idea. Being similar was always intentional just like it was with Toon Link, and Luigi. To me, Lucina was put in since the beginning of Smash bros. 4's development. I honestly like it when an initial idea evolves into something greater you know! A thing of beauty in game design.

I had to write the post because I felt bad for the Lucina fans for what they had to put up with just like what the poor Ridley and Mewtwo fans have to deal with (I am one of them).

The pairing system is one of the best things awakening gives.
I still think DR and POR are better in some aspects but Awakening makes it really easy to get closer to the characters you use.

option one: Weaken an enemy and let him get the last hit.
option two: Trap an archer on all four sides with three other units and Donnel and let Donnel whittle him down.

Donnel starts off weak but has incredible growth rates because of his skill, Aptitude. If you invest some time into leveling him up, he often overtakes a lot of the other characters and becomes a powerhouse.

Yes, she does. And there's nothing scary about the human body at all; I never said as much. I'm speaking with content ratings and the like in mind with the knowledge that a lot of younger children will be playing this game. I just don't think her outfit is appropriate for Smash.

So how do you explain Zero-Suit's situation?

The zero suit has always been pushing boundaries somewhat, but it's also more appropriate than Tharja's design because it's not see-through and doesn't have a defined two-piece set of undergarments (like Tharja's bra and belt-skirt or whatever you want to call it ). She shows no skin below her neck while the very large majority of Tharja's skin is visible below a see-through robe.

He has a really high luck stat (+3) and +1 to both Str and Def, but he has a modifier of -1 on Mag, Skl, Spd and Res. He's about the same as other first generation characters in terms of stat caps; it's his very quick growth rates that make him powerful in the campaign.

It's a rally skill that raises every stat of the party members around you by 4 for one turn. Grandmasters (the advances class for Tacticians) learn it at Lv 15.

Promoting them raises their stats, has more skills for them to learn and maybe gives them a new weapon. Take Chrom. Using a Master Seal on him gives him +5 HP, +4 STR, +2 SKL, +2 SPD, +3 DEF and +3 RES, let's him learn AEther at level 5 and Rightful King at Level 15 and gives him the ability to use lances.

Oh my gosh, so do I! I think it would be the greatest thing ever since sliced bread if duck hunt dog was playable. Glad I'm not the only one who would love to see him in. While it is unlikely to be honest. It would be the coolest thing ever and I would spam the laughing taunt if he was playable. He would be our next Mr. game and Watch and r.o.b., someone unexpected and interesting. You know you want to beat him up after all the misery the dog put us through with our failed attempts at shooting ducks. I would most certainly main him if he was playable.

Honestly, I do feel the bizarre characters that are in so far are fine as well as the miscellaneous reps. We'll probably get at least one more bizarre rep, and a couple more miscellaneous reps which are well represented as is. Who knows what the next bizarre character will be now that gematsu isn't 100% true anymore... I see what you mean by off putting. I'm just glad Sakurai is good at balancing representation and character choices for the most part.

Well not LITERALLY but yeah...
Tharja could be easily toned down, as I said before, if they just make her lace really dark so you cant see through it, and keep her cleavage at a reasonable size.

I think her hexes would be best if they inflicted some initial damage, inverted your controls, and poisoned you all at once.
It would be hilarious.

Yeah. I will say in spite of my want, Lucina's reveal and inclusion made me even more surprised and pleased than even Robin. Robin had that unique factor to him, but Lucina kept getting called Marth 2.0 and stuff like that which made me worried she'd be stuck as his alt. Turns out she was until Sakurai changed that.

To better your amusement, her game seems to lack the tipper, something that both improves and breaks Marth. This means that she will be a much more reliable character than Marth overall which may mean a better character than Marth as well.

Buy a new one.

Open the Wireless Menu, go to the Bonus Teams, and select Eliwood from the Fire Emblem game list. Summon him, and you can buy several weapons, including the Killing Edge, the Brave Sword and Lance, and Hector's Axe.

You might have to update the Bonus Data from the Wireless menu if you haven't already.

I'm so intruiged but I'm not going to use any of it except for Killing Edge because most of the items are a bit too good.

Yes. You can also get special versions of them from the DLC maps (almost every DLC map rewards you with a special unit). The first map pack, the Champion's Pack, contains three maps. Champions of Yore 1 rewards you with a Pr. Marth with Aptitude and Charm. Champions of Yore 2 rewards you with a Roy with Dual Strike+ and Aegis. The levels of the Bonus Team units are higher to start with, though.


The thing to remember, though, is that none of these characters can Support. They can all reclass to any job, but with no Support bonuses they get fewer stats from Pair Up, and no Dual Support. They're powerful, and get some unique skill combinations, but wind up eventually falling behind due to this.

You need the money and the skill to use the better weapons, so it kind of balances out until you start seriously grinding.

Yes, she can, it defeats the point of why she goes in the past, if it happens. Yet, I wouldn't necessarily say it would kill herself, rather than kill her present self. Time travel has tons of different ways it work, but because of the perma-death system, along with some plot evidence, If Lucina kills Chrom she'll still exist because while all the events prior stay the same, it causes a timeline split where Lucina is still in the present of the game, but Chrom is dead (meaning the baby Lucina from that timeline will not exist), but since she came from a different timeline that is said to still exist, Lucina wouldn't be affected by this.

Another explanation is she causes a Time Paradox and destroys the fabric of the universe and everything with it.

Time Travel gives headaches when trying to explain what would happen "if this occurs". Excuse me while I try to fix my brain....

Yeah, Awakening goes by DBZ time travel rules, in which parallel universes are created through time travel. Thus, Lucina from the future will always exist, and all of her actions will not change her timeline, but can only change the in game president.

I think there should be an Awakening character and one from Radiant Dawn. For the Awakening character, I would have picked Tiki. She would have appeared in her human form, and be vulnerable for a second, but then transform into a Manakete and deal a ton of damage. But instead, I would have Olivia appear and dance. The person who opens the AT gets increased speed and a triple jump for a short time. Frederick would also be a good choice due to his popularity in the West.

For RD, I would have Micaiah use Thani. Anyone hit with Thani gets stunned and get a strong assasin like hit from Sothe.
