...True, true. Pokémon isn't exactly telling groundbreaking stories. I just meant more Easter egg things. Sorry, I'm just a bit spoiler-fearing nowadays. I was angry when the roster for SSB was leaked and unavoidable.

I'll probably be gone for a little bit for those same reasons to as I'm that kind of person with a slight competitive nature where when I see people with more progress than me in games, it motivates me to play more for many hours to get to that point as a sort of bragging right. I am also going on vacation for a week for thanksgiving as well. Honestly, who cares that it's pokemon because maybe there are some people who like the plot in games such as mystery dungeon or black and white and don't want the story spoiled or even gameplay parts as they want that human connection to not lose the impact it would have with no spoilers.

Heck, I know my completionist side consumes me when I see a person further than me in a game because I get really into a game for experience and to get to that same point to not get spoiled and to see those moments.

True, I'm like that as well. If people are far ahead of me, I get intimidated.

And I feel like I enjoy the Pokémon games without spoilers, whether they're well-written or cheesy, or even remakes. I think part of the reason I really loved X and Y is that I didn't spoil the Pokémon in the game aside from one or two and got to truly experience it first hand. I spoiled the heck out of some of the others, and while I loved them, it wasn't the same.

And Mystery Dungeon has a good story, period, not just by Pokémon standards, especially the Explorers ones and the latest one.

hmm. You now what. I wish the stopped using Ash after the second season (Kanto and Johto) and then chucked a Pokemon Origins and use the default character for each game as the main character, and maybe throw in a few cameos of Ash and the gang (who have the ability to age), cause thats kind of when it started to go all down hill for the anime personally.

Agreed. I haven't followed the show in years, but I did watch Origins and it was generally awesome. It truly felt like the games.

Few things to note. Some chapters are all one story, while other chapters contain several shorter storeis, which means doing some searching for the awesome Lucina x Robin stuff. There is even one where Robin has been sending off all the couples on vacations exactly 9 months before the second gen character 's birthdays, to make sure they are born... and ends with some hilarious revelations at Chrom's expense (who will most likely then murder Robin)

Also, do not read chapter 8. Ever. Just don't, it will make you depressed. (Its a what if story about what would happen if Lucina killed Robin in the judgement scene... and it is really dark and depressing)

Nothing wrong with that. Playing spoiler free gives the true feeling of the game. I've paid the price for getting to curious and spoiling myself. Heck, I felt bad when that roster was leaked illegally because it was a kick in the rear for Sakurai and his team and for everyone. Shulks trailer for example would've had its true impact even though it was a good one as is. The leaker got rightfully fired for doing such a horrible thing and something illegal. What did you think of the leak at first by the way? I know for me, I thought it was fake at first until the video evidence was leaked. One thing that really made me sad was that it ruined the awesome surprise Duck Hunt would've given like what Mr. Game and Watch did in melee.

I remember my cousin told me to not spoil anything for Black and White so he could really enjoy it to it's fullest and I made sure not to spoil anything. It really isn't the same when things are spoiled. Hey pokemon can have its moments in story. I thought the Mewtwo backstory in the first gen games was cool and led to mystery and buildup. They have the whole friendship and bonding with other morale. Mystery Dungeon is known for its story to and I know plenty of people who liked the approach Black and White did.

Exactly. Pokemon games aren't always about 8 badges and defeat champion. Which is why I really like the twist at the end of Black and White.

Origins was pretty good and a breath of fresh air. There's been too many episodes so I haven't watched it in a while either. Which season did you like the most and which characters were your favorite?

Yeah, I was playing on hard once and on the first boss fight (not Vaildar, the Barrarian) and he had 7% chance to crit and 7 health left, so anyone of may units could have finished him. Any way, he decides to attack Robin and what do you know, he gets a critical hit that hits and OHKO's Robin. I absolutely lost it .
