Looking for Central Cali Brawl players/tournaments...

I live in San Luis Obispo, and I like to play Brawl competitively. Unfortunately, it seems as if almost no tournaments are within 3 hours driving distance (save occasional Santa Barbara tournament, but this seems to be a rarity)

Are there any other Smashers that are in this predicament? I'm looking for some more competition, and traveling to LA or frisco seems excessive just to play against some good players and get my *** beat.

Yes, I have looked at the "Locating players & tournaments near you (READ THIS FIRST)" thread, but to no avail.

If you live nearby and want to brawl it up, send me a PM and we'll work something out.

NOTE: If I can find enough good players that would be interested, I'd be happy to host biweeklies or something of that sort. Only have 4-5 interested players at the moment in the area.

Unfortunately, I have found no tournaments at all in San Luis Obispo. I think they would mostly be a joke at this point because it doesn't seem there are many competitive players around here. If there are, contact me!

i grew up in Santa Maria, but moved to Long Beach for college...though my little brother still lives there and he and his friends have recently been having small tournaments...nothing big, and im not too sure about how tough the competition is (though my brother is annoying as all h-e-double hockey stix), but i guess its something

If you can ever make it to Ventura County, there's a community there.

There used to be a Smash community in Salinas, but it's dead.

oxnard is 805 regulars plan 9 sgt fluffles
moorpark and simi - the representatives of 805, melee replicate lovage and embrace oh and festizzio

also i live in oxnard during the school year
if you're down we can play street fighter or smash i guess
