There are a lot of rumors around new updates that can be solved by looking back at the first two trailers. I went back and watched them and noticed some details that should calm all the speculating out there.

Link's UpB: Link's recovery can be charged, but in the Nintendo world trailer he uses it without charging.

Link's Arrow: It looks like Link's arrow charges much faster, but has less knockback(mario is already damaged. First trailer, when Snake is in the Box)

Less competitive: If you watch the trailers, you see some combos, dashing, higher jumps, and stronger attacks. Doesn't look less competitive to me. Also, metaknight short hops at one point(attacking wario).

Freeze frames: Look like there are freeze frames. Link's Dair makes both characters freeze for an instance before moving. Mario's DownB and Fox's UpB both hit a character multiple times before they go flying

Misc. Finds:
-Fox has a much faster recovery, so it will be harder to edge gaurd him(15 sec movie)
-Samus' fair has a different animation now'(15 sec movie)
-Samus still has the same B move, because you can see it charged (15 sec movie/screens)
-Again, I still believe you can charge Pikachu's neutral B(and I think Pika might be heavier and floaty) (first trailer)
-Kirby's fsmash is 9X better, because it has lightning now(screenshot)
-Characters DO make eye contact(every screen/movie)
-Brawl looks(Mookie) 2X better than melee in every way conceivable way, and 3X cooler in ways conceivable by dolphins(every screenshot, update, movie, and almsot anywhere in the ocean for the dolphin thing)
-Invisible rolling/teching boundaries seem to have been removed
-Link's dair does not bounce anymore

I'll look for more later, feel free to add more. Also, I believe the bubble shield is gone(as should be obvious by now).

OMG, Dolphin Logic FTOA (For the Outstanding Award)

Anyway, where does Kirby turn into a lamp? (Emit electricity through FSmash?)

It might be helpful where you saw these interesting subliminal messages in each trailer!

Good eye!

I really think that Kirby's Hammer moves faster, in the first trailer while in the Halberd Hanger, it looks pretty speedy.

Do you thinks so?

It certainly looks better, but the attack comes out just as fast and you don't see it finish, so I can't tell how the ending lag is.

New find, in the beginning of the E3 trailer Link dashes into an Fsmash, and doesn't need to wait for his dash to stop. Either that or his new dash attack resembles his old fsmash.

Although we haven't seen the bubble sheild yet, I don't think we have seen any other form of sheilding either. There's still a good chance it's still in the game.

Although there has been proof of a VERY transparent bubble shield, I wouldn't mind each character having their own unique block.

with all the new **** i see and hear about SSBB there may very well be more peronal touches to each character, such as shields and unique moves as well as
mayhem

It would certainly be nice to have each character play with their own style, other than just different moves and physics. The new invincibility frames seem to take a step in this direction.

I believe by the looks of the recent trailers it looks like thier aren't invisble boundaries like thier was in Melee = (Being able to roll towards the edge of the field and not fall off) so now you roll off the ledge instead of staying in place dodging attacks

I just rewatched the trailers also. Yeah, the electricity on Kirby's f-smash seems just to be the hit effect on every move.

It looks like they've gone over the top with the idea of "speed" and "combos" though. I'm kind of worried about this. Watching characters like Metaknight and Pit swing their weapons around 5 times per second and have barely any lag on moves just seems ridiculous. Hopefully it will turn out to be different when we finally play the game.

I think perhaps that on the idea of better aerial combat and easier recovering it will take less time to DI out of those rapid hits. In melee bad DI could get annoying when caught between two C Falcon doing their rapid jabs.

Also, in the E3 trailer, Link's dair doesn't bounce anymore, which proves the effect of the Havoc engine they're using. I want to add that Mario's fair helps him to get more KO options.
