Hey. My friend recently challenged me to a fight against his Luigi main without Pikmin. Well, I get Pikmin, but the rule is that I only get the three Olimar plucks automatically at the beginning, and those are the only ones I get to use for the whole match. Basically this whole thing started because I always (99% of the time) beat the daylights outta him with my Olimar. He doesn't like Pikmin throw spam...

It's just for fun, but I think it could help my game a bit. Have you ever played without pikmin? It's hard, lol! My favorite non-pikmin move so far is probably... the Dtilt or even just the jab...

Your move selection fits on one hand. There's not much to think about.

Neutral air a lot. dtilt, utilt, ftilt, dash attack, jab... You know.

And if you beat him this way, he's probably not that good.

I tried it versus my brother. It works, but you can't kill. I got him up to 300 and he was still alive and kicking.

It really won't help your game out much, besides the fact that you know which moves you can do without pikmin. The only reason that would even help is if you have no Pikmin and you need a move to get the person away from you so you can pluck.

Your only non Pick moves are as Rapid said:
Ftilt,Dtilt,Utilt Nair, Dash, N Air, and your jabs.

Heh, I've played without Pikmin before, and actually got a couple of kills and dealed some pretty good damage since it was a FFA with 4 people.

The only thing you really kill with is the Ftilt, and that's still at higher percents.

I tried it out. My most reliable kill move was ftilt. I racked with dtilt or uptilt>nair and If he got close, I'd try to jab away. It's really hard to do though cuz you're really predictable. ^_^

Save ftilt because of diminish. Get ftilt on them at about 140%-170%.

Yeah the Ftilt is even a reliable kill move with Pikmin when you get their damage up high enough.I just hate the fact that by the time this kills they have been fihgting for a while and have more of a chance to damage you when you get to their next life.

Spam nair. Or whichever move makes Olimar spin a lot.
Then figure out a way to finish.

I challenge my friends to no Pikmin matches all the time with Olimar for ****s and giggles. I even almost beat my friends Ike. Took two and a half stock off without a single Pikmin. Ownage.

Just because you have no Pikmin doesn't make the Whistle Super Armor completely useless... though I don't know what you're gonna punish them with.

lol, I was fighting a friend using ROB and I used no Pikmin. KOd him with an Ftilt at 200% at Pictochat
