Yes but his game had a ton of potential in Melee due to the speed of the game and the physics system that was implemented in it. In Brawl that's not the case. Brawl air dodging ruined Falcon. There's just not much you can do when your best tactic is to get people in the air and they can just air dodge right back down to the ground again.

I tried Falcon for a while, just for fun. I found out that his playstyle is something different. It still rocks, eventhough its not as good as in melee I can really find my way through it and I'm pretty decent with him now. I'll keep playing him for a while to see how much potential he has for me. Lets wait for a couple months and see where we are then. I bet Falcon won't stay behind. Rather than that, I think he will become high tier.

Hes one of my mains. I've given him many chances and I know he sucks terribly but I still use him.

How many people actually came to this website when Melee came out? Melee didn't start to have a lot of fans until later. That's because of how many people bought the game. Now in BRAWL, there are already so many people that bought the game. You can't relate the two.
I win more playing with Bowser than I do with Falcon.

Pfffft, I do better with Falcon than I do with most characters. Probably because I barely play anyone else... Falcon will always be my favourite character despite being terrible in comparison to melee's Falcon. The main problem is that all his approach moves are ground based and they all leave him open.
