would snake have a hard time against a good Link player? the two do seemed equal in terms of projectiles...

I dont have any problems with link. The key is getting in CQC and just letting it rip. Most links will try to spam arrows at you, i just approach and ****. Even though link has an f'ing sword, snake's attacks still outrange links and outprioritize.

I've played against some great links and what always causes their demise is the abysmal recovery. Link is actually pretty strong with a great projectile game but I'd say he's got THE worst recovery in the game. A few far-knocking tilts and he's a goner.

I have a friend that use Link and I am still not able to mark a clear advantage with Snake, However his projectiles are not a problem to me but the sword, for the bomb all you got to do is block timely and it may even bounce back to him or just mortar slide or do the dash attack, any of those catch the bomb automatically, the boomerang may be bothersome but you can even "ride" it back with an FSmash, a dash attack or a mortarlide although this requires much timing. Against the arrows I guess all you can do is either outrange him with the nikita and grenades or dodge and block while approaching

well when you move in for CQC can't Link just shield-grab if snake attempts to use his forward tilt?

also link's neutral a combo is quite annoying, how do you guys handle it?

Link has no recovery game. I'd dare say that FTlits at 60% would be enough [if at the edge] to send him out of range of recovery.

I usually aproach him by dash attack, or run then shield to grab him or just dodge a lot, I guess you could play the Kamikaze and approach him with a grenade in hand and airdodge to him while the grenade explodes, what really has affected me is the up swordswing move he does, I can't land unharmed I usually have to descend with agrenade in order to blow us both. By the way how effective is the counternade against him?
